Made this for dinner last night and was really delicious. It's quick, easy, affordable and low in calories. I also think it would be great for a crowd - you could make it vegetarian or not.

Also, am wondering if you posted this in the MFP database - if so - under what recipe name? Thanks

It's a way of keeping the post active and puts it into your "my topics" category so you can refer back to it at a later date.

BigTireFlippe....I have the same concerns and issues with sodium so I cook my own chickpeas from dried beans. 15 oz can = 1.5 cups cooked dried beans. As for the tomato sauce, I look for cans with no salt added.

Bump. We've made something similiar by just throwing a bunch of spices into the tomatos, but a recipe is always appreciated. Thanks!
