For those of us using the PB2 option instead of peanut butter...are you rehydrating it with water, or just stirring in 4 T of the PB2 powder?

    I just used the powder.

No I just put in the powder. It gets mixed in with the milk and the applesauce so it works great!

Made mine today. They were pretty good, but didn't taste like cookie dough to me. They tasted similar to the 2 ingredient cookie recipe, except there were more than 2 ingredients.

Edit: Thanks for the recipe OP. We had fun making them and eating them.

Aww what an adorable photo! What a great helper you had :) Did you add in cinnamon? I think that helps them taste more like a cookie between that and the chocolate chips. Glad you enjoyed them and had fun making them! Thank you so much for posting your photo :))

What an adorable pic above me! awwwww!!

I have these in the oven now! My kids helped me too! We are so excited to try them!

We used 2 teaspoons of honey, instead of the sugar. I also omitted the salt, just our own preference.

Next time we are going to add some marshmallows. You could really get creative with these!

    Thank you again!! :drinker:

I found something amazing and I have to share with the wonderful mfp community! Cookie Dough Baked Oatmeal. It is healthy, yummy, and best of all you can add in whatever you want to make it even more awesome :) Here is the recipe..

    1 cup rolled oats (100g)
    1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
3 tbsp stevia or sweetener of choice
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce (120g)
    1/2 cup almond milk
    1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp dark chocolate chips (save a few for the top, too!)
4 tbsp PB2, OR 2 tbsp peanut butter, or almond butter. (I used PB2)
Optional: 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon (If you like cinnamon in chocolate chip cookies)

Preheat oven to 380 degrees. Combine dry ingredients, then mix in wet.

Pour into a small baking pan, or loaf pan.

Cook for 20 minutes, or more until it’s firm. Finally, set your oven to “high broil” for 3-5 more minutes (or simply just bake longer, but broiling gives it a nice crust). Don’t forget to spray your pan first so it comes out nice and easy.

This makes 4 servings, I cut mine into 4 bars. It tastes like your eating something bad.. like a cookie dough candy bar! I LOVE it :)
