This pizza I have at least 2x per week here in Queens, NYC.
omg you must be fat! notsrs0 -
OMG!!!! I totally agree with you. Your description of New York pizza was perfect. I moved to California in 1970 and still miss NY pizza. I always talk about flying back to NY just for a pizza weekend (smile).0

I have a really weird way I like my pizza. I like to get it then wipe all of the cheese and most of the sauce off and eat it like that.
But then it's not pizza anymore. :sad:0 -
Three Brothers Pizza on the Seaside boardwalk or a Maruca's tomato pie ...... and that has to be followed up by a Midway Sausage Pepper sandwich .... can't wait for summer!0

Noooo, it's still pizza... Just cheeseless, sauceless pizza... Okay, so it's pizza crust.0 -
Quattro stagioni. I ate it in every town I visited in Italy. Mmmm....0

Sooo...bread?0 -
Naan Artisan Pizza Crust.. Olive oil with basil, oregeno and red pepper flakes infused into it.. brush crust. Pile Cheese on top, add more oregeno, slice a tomato on top of that, blitz with basil. Grill a chicken breast with some salt and pepper, slice and toss on top. Bake at 350 for a bit. Enjoy. That's the perfect pizza, or as perfect as it's going to get outside of Chicago0

Nope. If you're ever in Florence Alabama, you have to try The Pie Factory... Best brick oven pizza in existence.0 -

Basically. :ohwell:0 -
A restaurant a few towns over makes wood-fired thin crust pizzas...
My favs are the Ricotta (house-made Italian sausage, wild mushrooms, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, tomato sauce), the Chicken Gorgonzola (wood-fired chicken, gorgonzola, baby spinach, red onion, sun-dried tomato pesto, parmesan cream) and the Prosciutto (Prosciutto, fingerling potatoes, roasted garlic olive oil, fontina, parmesan, roasted garlic, fresh rosemary)0 -
Anything from Pepe's in New Haven, CT0
-
Gotta be white garlic sauce and sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, and herbs. The cheese should be fontina, mozz, and parmesan.0

deep dish traditional tomato pie with mozzarella0

This ^^^^
I make them from scratch at home once in a while. Mmmmmm.0 -
There would NEVER be just one. I have too many 'mood' pizzas, so it changes.
One of my faves is the Barro's Buffalo Hot Wing Pizza. Basically and over cheesed pizza with medium hot wing sauces and chicken, but it is sooooo butter good and mixes well with their chewy thick Chicago crust.0 -

Oh it's pizza alright. Here we have pizza bianca--white pizza. It's pizza crust with olive oil and coarse salt on top. It's chewy with a crunchy crust and my sons love it. You can buy it anywhere in Italy. They also use it to make sandwiches--with proscuitto, mozzarella, arugula etc,etc.0 -
I am italian so I am a huge sucker for a classic neopolitan style pizza. Fresh mozz, home made marinara, and some fresh basil0
-
I prefer the small local places, but if I'm ordering delivery, it must be Papa John's buffalo chicken pizza. It is not only tasty, it's aesthetically pleasing with the big swirl of sauce. I don't consider it real pizza though.0

pineapple and sliced jalepeno.....YUMMMMMMM!!!!!0

Not just the perfect pizza -- the perfect food.

I swear to God, if one person, just one, says their favorite pizza involves a cauliflower crust, i will burn this website to the ground. TO THE GROUND!
:flowerforyou: Good luck on your journey.
Oh. Mushroom pizza from Frank's pizzeria in Silvis, IL.0 -
How about this:0
-
Zuchinni, goat's cheese and black olives. Oh, and lots of cheese.0
-
It's hard to say what toppings that I'd put on it... but I love making my own herbed pizza dough and a spicy/garlicy tomato sauce. The last one that I made was with chicken breast, thinly slice tomatoes, red onions, and diced avocado slices with Mexican blend cheese.0
-
My husband makes amazing pizza dough, not too thick or too thin, and I prefer it just loaded with garlic butter and cheese. No sauce or other toppings. With a side of lasagna.0

Pizza is my weak point and this thread is killing me lol0
