"Aren't you guys forgetting this is a groin injury?"
Buhahahaha! That was funny!0 -

I just get so anxious if I have to stay still & running really helps to clear my thoughts! I suppose I will have to endure for the next two weeks though!
When I get anxious, and I can't exercise or do drugs, I *kitten*. Try it!
Do you log it? And is this still technically considered "rest"?

Good catch.
So, yeah, OP...you should probably just rest.
as long as it's not a tennis elbow, I'm not convinced that a "rapid release" will result in further groinal injury. Although hip thrusts are probably contra-indicated.0 -

I log it as pilates, and yes it's rest! It's not wacky stuff, it's more like the 'light the vanilla-scented candles and put on soft music and really take your time with it' sort of pilates.0 -
when i have to rest from running i do some yoga and when that gets old i clean the whole house!0

REST, REST, REST. I have a bad knee and every time it starts acting up, I have to rest too. I know it's not easy. But you can always work out your arms and abs in the mean time0

Rest sucks. I'm doing it too (back injury). Seriously, and I say this for both of us. Rest means rest.0
-
Your choice: rest now for 2 weeks or rest for 12-14 weeks when you tear your groin from overworking on a strain.0

I recommend couch sit-downs and TV series catch-ups.
this wins my morning internet LULZ.

So it's whacky but not wacky?0 -
