Lose 10 Pounds by Valentine's Day!!

made the 10 glasses of water! Didn't get the exercise in, I meant to, but after running errands and unpacking my room (which is somewhat like exercise..) I wanted a nap instead!
However, I was happy to see the scale read 139.3 this morning! Which means I actually did lose weight this week!0 -
Weighed in, i believe I'm down 1/2 lb. I was 148.8 last week and today was an even 148.
(That's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL)0 -
MONDAY CHALLENGE:
WEIGH IN DAY!!! - Done, but not like I would like it!

10 Glasses Water - DONE!
40% rule for Exercise- Take 40% of your Body weight and exercise that many minutes. You can choose any activity...mix it up if you like, do weights, cardio, play basketball, whatever - DONE! Although I forgot this was my goal so it was really just pure coincedence because I would normally go for around an hour, not 80 minutes!
And of couse Under Calories - DONE! Ate about 1300, but burned around 600-700 so life is good :drinker:

H2O Tuesdays= 12 Glasses Water!!! Come on! This will be for EVERY TUESDAY!
Under Cals and Add 5 Minutes of exercise to whatever your % was yesterday. So if you were "supposed" to do 45 minutes then today you are "supposed" to do at least 50 minutes! :grumble:0 -

MONDAY CHALLENGE:
Met the exercise challenge, didn't make the water, and was doing great on calories until we started watching a movie and the boys broke out the cheetos! grrr, I had already closed out my diary too.
TUESDAY CHALLENGE:
H2O Tuesdays= 12 Glasses Water!!! Come on! This will be for EVERY TUESDAY! -at 10 already, so know I will make this
Under Cals and Add 5 Minutes of exercise to whatever your % was yesterday. So if you were "supposed" to do 45 minutes then today you are "supposed" to do at least 50 minutes! -played 18 holes of golf and that burns a ton of calories (and takes 4 hours!) so I definitely hit the exercise time goal and will be under calories because I just won't eat that many.0 -

Yesterday I was pretty proud of myself. I did TWO twenty minute workouts with my ea active 2 trainer, she didn't push me as hard this time so I didn't burn many calories (140) but it was enough to push me over the edge and I went down by 0.4 so thats ok by me. : )0 -

For those of you who HAVEN"T weighed in for this week, I am going to tell MrsSeaShell to give you a 0 for the week and then she can add your weigh ins to next week's spreadsheet since she is trying to collect all the information she can! Please remember we must weigh in as soon as possible to be respectful of her hard work on helping us with a spreadsheet. I know some of you haven't seen what an amazing job she does yet, but wait until you do! She even posts a TOP 10 list and that really increases the competition around here! It's awesome!

General weigh ins are Mondays, but if you have a different day you typically weigh in that is fine, but please just post as soon as you can for the above reasons!
I post Challenges that are not required, but are here if you need some motivation and something to help you work towards. They aren't always easy. You can come back here and check for them. I try to post several days in advance. So, make sure to check back often to make sure you keep up if you are interested. Remember they arent REQUIRED! Just for help!

Bonus: You MUST completely rid the house of ANY leftover candies, cookies, etc... from Christmas and New Years. There's NO EXCUSE to still have them lying around taunting you with their sweet and salty fattening goodness!!! Take them to work, give them to the skinny people! haha!!! Have a THROW IT OUT night and then take the family to a healthy dinner as a reward and then bowling! (by the way bowling is way fun and burns TONS of calories!) Oh yeah, call ahead and make sure it isn't a League Bowling night in your town....
FRIDAY CHALLENGE:
10 Water
60 Cardio (Remember this doesn't have to be all at one time if you need to mix it up and do 20 minutes at a time. Cleaning your house counts!!! So go do some laundry and vacuum!! It's worth it!)

** Bonus.....Plan your "night out" for Valentine's day. It doesn't have to be with your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend. It can be with just friends. What would you want to do 10 pounds skinnier? Where would you go? What would you wear? It doesn't even have to be on the exact date of Feb. 14th! For fun, come back here and post! I would love it if we can really do something fun for ourselves b/c we will deserve it for losing these 10 pounds (and then some!)0 -

since starting work for the new year on monday i have been eating mushroom n swiss snack wrap reason being is that i have not ate anywhere between 1200 - 1500 calories a day yet...lol....been doing great on no eating small fries and have been getting @ least 64 oz water everyday
have not done ANY of the exercise vids yet...so instead of marathoning it....ill just get in what i can...TODAY i will definitely do:

george foreman walk n box
and the other jillian michaels video...walk @ least 5000 steps as well0 -

Tuesday Challenge: hit all the goals for Tuesday. Yay! Had to go to bed early though to keep from eating in the evening!
WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE:
10 Water -did this already
20 Minutes Resistance Training (weights, pushups, etc...you choose, mix and match if you want)-did a 53 minute cardio sculpt class. It's so fun but can be soooo hard. We do light weights but tons of reps (for example, today we did 100 shoulder raises with 3 lb. weights-my shoulders are crying!) and while we are doing the weights we are doing squats, lunges, and leg lifts. I'm not gonna be able to take the stairs tomorrow. I usually do this class on Mondays and Wednesdays but haven't been in over a month because of my son's surgery and Christmas break.
30 Minutes Cardio-then I went and did a 45 minute spin class!
Under Calories (I hope to be, I burned a ton of caloires and I don't eat all my exercise caloires back, but we are having ribs for dinner)

Ok girl..... That's it... You are officially MY HERO!! I'm tired and SORE just reading all that you did! Whew... ouch.... Going to the restroom is going to hurt tomorrow!! lol.. I always hated trying to sit down on the toilet after such hard workouts. I would almost just fall onto it!0
