BACK after a year MIA... WOMEN ONLY

Hey ALL...
Let me just start off by saying that event though I haven't been faithfully logging EVERY DAY and I haven't stuck to my exercise routine in over a year I have only gained back 5 -7 pounds.
That being said, my body has turned back to being a FLABBY mess though.:sad:
Last year my longterm boyfriend and I split after 8 years ( and 1 beautiful child) together:brokenheart:
I lost the drive and motivation to STAY in touch with MFP friends so I deleted EVERYONE and have been sporadically logging since. :frown:
I look back at my pictures from a year ago until now and I cant believe that I just let all my hard work go down the drain:sick:
I am looking once again to find WOMEN who I can be friends with and stay accountable to and with.

I know what you mean. I stopped logging in except occasionally for close to a year and finally came back at the end of January because a friend on FB suggested a group of us start a diet together. I have been on here everyday since and though I don't always do the best I am trying and I know I will get to where I need to be. Like you I only gained back about 8 pounds back but I lost all endurance for exercise.0

Ok, I was thinking that you didn't want men as friends for other reasons (I have met some rape victims who didn't prefer male friends) but... this comment.

You think you'd get unwanted male attention?
Some of the most brilliant people I've met here have been men. Why write off an entire gender just because you think a couple or one of them may hit on you or give you a compliment that you then likely take the wrong way only because they are a man and then you get your panties all bunched up? I'm a rape survivor and my rapist was a man, but I don't write off men just because they're men. I've received a couple of somewhat pervy messages from a couple of guys but I was mature enough to respond appropriately.
Give the men a chance, and don't label the rest of us who do have male friends as 'attention seeking'. We're not.

I have the RIGHT to CHOOSE to NOT have male friends on here.
MEN
. do NOT have the same body as mine, so are NOT on the weight loss journey " I " am on.
.They have different caloric needs than I do with different macros, so therefore only have book or head knowledge of a WOMANS weight loss journey.
.They have NEVER given birth, so my TARGET areas are something they do NOT have personal KNOWLEDGE about.
AND
. Although I have my own PERSONAL reasons for NOT wanting male friends I have CHOSEN to NOT disclose those, so if this means I am "writing off" a whole group of people ...so be it .
it also means, IF THEY ARE CONTACING ME PERSONALLY THAT IT IS *UNWANTED* ATTENTION.
