My very own breakfast pizza: whole wheat pita, tomato sauce with eggplants + guanciale + leftover roasted pork + grilled chicken breast + red bell pepper, green onions and spinach, low fat mozzarella and a scrumptious sunny side up egg.

    Great brunch!

I made some jerk chicken tonight. Grilled on charcoal, crispy, spicy and juicy.

    340404IMG20140512191515.jpg

I served it traditional way, with rice and peas and a baked sweet potato (with a touch of labneh).

I thought I had posted this!

Kale, chicken and rice stir fry. The only thing missing was an egg on top, which was my own fault for not checking to see if I needed eggs before cooking.

Deevaa: do you reheat slow cooked steak at all? Or eat cold or only fresh? I've been doing 1kg or so at a time and eating over the course of a day. Cold and reheated both taste great I reckon.

I've not slow cooked steak at all.

The beef roast I did in the slowcooker was great reheated though.

It's our "national" meal here in Quebec. An healthy mixture (lol) of french fries and cheese curd smoothered in gravy. This is the plain old version, but restaurants add a lot of different toppings: bacon, chicken and peas, frankfurter... It's good, but pretty killer!
