I'm not against plastic surgery, but................

NO AND HELL NO!0

Which surgery did she have tho?
"Cinderella," a surgery that removes bunions,
the "Perfect 10" (shortens toes),
the "Model T" (lengthens them),
or the "Foot Tuck, a fat-pad augmentation that helps with high heels."
They all do different things, and they are all meant for designer heels.0 -
Omg NO!!
That is taking it a wee bit too far for my liking.
I like my toes and all my bits, not changing or getting rid of anything.0 -
I'd get a boob job. I've alway wanted a nice set of perky tits. :drinker:0
-
I'm just picturing the scan from top to bottom of the next guy to see her naked, like 'yes, lips, yes, boobies, ......wtf?????' It's like the Fresh Prince episode where his girlfriend takes off all her nails and hair and everything when they are locked in a room together.
Thanks for the laugh...I know SHE doesn't think it's funny since she did it on purpose, but I think it's laughable that some people are so wealthy and crazy that they would mutilate themselves to fit into a shoe.0 -
I have no arches so I am destined for flats and wedges for the rest of my life. If I could get surgery so I can wear stilettos I would decline because that would probably catch up to me in the long run.0

:noway:
She had her pinky toe cut off?!?!
And who really gives an eff that someone had plastic surgery done?
True... rumor mill. I was just more or less shocked that someone would consider that. If that makes her happy, I don't care. But actively choosing to remove a body part does leave one to question motives and, you know... sanity...0 -
No thanks. My feet may not be the prettiest things but I wouldn't hack a toe off either. Boobs I might consider if I ever need to get them lopped off.0
-
did she have man feet? Why the need to cut off a toe or 2?!? Oh ouch. And, yea, no. I would not. My dainty little feet fit just fine in heels.

whatever floats her toes. I just wouldn't do it.0 -
I'm not crazy, so NOPE. Not happenin'!
And I'm all for plastic surgery if one feels that he or she needs it to feel better about themselves, but I wish that no one EVER felt that way. We are all beautiful the way we are, and it's harder to accept that with fake parts.0 -
Hmmmmm . . . cut off toe, get wider shoes . . . get wider shoes, cut off toe.
That's a tough one. *rolls eyes*
This ^ And I love wearing heels.0 -
If she had to have her pinky to altered to wear heels then perhaps there was something defective about her pinky toe in the first place? Because most women can wear heels just fine sans surgery.0
-
I've met many, many older women who have had a toe removed so that they can wear shoes in a narrow size. I sold designer, high end shoes for a very long time, and those women who modify to fit a wrong size are crazy because shoes never fit right again, and you can forget strappy heels and sandals forever.
Nobody needs to have a toe removed to wear designer shoes. They just need to wear the right size and stop cramming their feet into the wrong size until they get hammer toes and bunions and the bone spur on the side of the pinky.
I've seen some of the most gnarly feet a person can imagine. I would never do this in a million years.0 -

Yes, I was wondering if it was an orthopedic issue. Maybe she was born with six toes on each foot.0 -

Maybe I am crazy, but wouldn't that potentially alter her balance...especially if she may have made herself top heavy??
Just a curious thought0 -
I have never heard about this until now. Wow.

The only reason I would EVER consider having my pinky toes amputated would be because I am clumsy and stub them/smash them into things/break them a lot and you can't do a damn thing about a broken pinky toe but maybe buddy tape it and leave it alone. For cosmetic reasons though? NOPE.0

I had no idea Darwin had a foot fetish.

I will have to check out that link. Thanks!0 -
I don't understand it at all. It's like Lotus Feet Binding in ancient China.0

I wouldn't have it done. But I also don't care what other people do with their bodies. You know, 'cause it's none of my business.

Absolutely not! I have no issues with wearing heels. I am also perfectly fine with the body parts I have. I might not like some things, but I would never have plastic surgery to change them.0

Can this even be for real? What happened to the whole "First do no harm" thing? There isn't even an aesthetic reason for this.0

His earliest copy of OTOS did have some overly-detailed flipper sketches...just sayin.0 -

Bless you! I could never work in an area that dealt wiht gnarly, ginger root, mandrake feet.
And would I have surgery to fit into designer heels NO (cause I do not wear heels ever ;-)0 -
My heels are the only part of my body not covered in fat.
NOBODY is touching my heels!0 -
The eldest went to her room to try on the shoe, and her mother
stood by. But she could not get her great toe into it, for the shoe
was too small; then her mother handed her a knife, and said, “Cut
the toe off, for when you are Queen you will never have to go on
foot.”
So the girl cut her toe off, squeezed her foot into the shoe,
concealed the pain, and went down to the Prince. Then he took her
with him on his horse as his bride, and rode off.
They had to pass by the grave, and there sat the two pigeons on the hazel bush,
and cried, “There they go, there they go! There is blood on her shoe;
The shoe is too small, Not the right bride at all!”0
