My neighbor said "OMG girl! I didn't even realize it was you! You've lost so much weight!" Felt good..felt real good.18

I bought this adorable pair of high-waisted trousers December of 2012 hoping they'd fit better eventually, but ended up stuffing them in the back of my closet along with the rest of my greatest buys only to idiotically try them on last summer knowing I was even heavier than when I bought them-- would not budge over my thighs. Yesterday I tried them on and they fit almost perfectly.20

I was able to keep my heart rate up in the aerobic zone for the full running and walking part of couch to 5k.16

I am 23 lbs into what will about to be 120 lb weight loss journey and today on my walk during my son's baseball practice I threw in 1 to 1.5 minute jogging intervals. Did 7 total peppered throughout my 41 minute walk. Is not a ton but for me - at still 275 lbs - it was huge and I will allow myself to be proud.48

My blood pressure was 120/70 and my heart rate was 60bpm on Thursday. That was pretty amazing because I have been battling high blood pressure for years.17

Doing my JM workout and when she references the shoulder knotches and butt dimples, I know exactly what she's talking about because I have them!10

I walked just shy of 5km in 50 minutes with my boxer mix and our pyrenees mix foster puppy. When we got back to the house, both dogs were worn out, but I felt so energized.
Walking two big dogs and being in control of them at all times makes me feel unstoppable. I also notice they behave even better for me when I am feeling good about myself.11 -
9 lbs down and my fat pants need a belt! :bigsmile:19

Mine is simple. I am down to the last belt loop!15

I am on my 2nd fasting day today (started following 5:2 way of life after years of unsuccesful calorie counting and yo-yoing).
My NSV is realization that I won't actually die from skipping a meal and that I am in full control of my body. It is actually nice to have a break from food. Never had this liberating feeling with constant calorie-counting and thinking what to have for my next snack.
I hope this is my path to success.16 -
1. I am now wearing the same size as my 20 year old daughter (Started out at size18, just bought size 2 on Saturday!)
2. I ran 6.5 miles on Friday and felt like I could keep going (When I started running last year, I couldn't run a minute without feeling like I was going to die!)24 -
I ran my first half marathon yesterday in a time of 1:51:37
Also getting drunkenly felt up (not too rude) my friends wife at a bbq a couple of weeks ago. She was like wow you're looking good, can I touch your chest/shoulders etc. Helps she's rather attractive!15 -
I don't know if this counts because I just barely started, but I went out to buy a new bra the other day because my old one was too big. That in itself was exciting, but the thing that thrilled me was when I asked the clerk at the store -- "Just out of curiosity, am I a 2x or a 3x size, in your opinion?" She said that I could wear a 1x in shirts and a 2x in pants. I was amazed. I'd been wearing 3x shirts and pants this whole time. She said I was picking shirts with fitted sleeves and with my shape I shouldn't wear them. Lo and behold, I put on a shirt without fitted sleeves that was 2 sizes smaller and it was actually a little loose!
Like I said, I don't know if that counts because it was just a revelation about buying clothes that fit my shape better and wasn't about losing weight, but I lost two shirt sizes in a day!22 -
Really fantastic NSVs here - congrats to everyone
Mine is that I went away on two trips - about 10 days total in two weeks and ate and drank what I wanted (tracked everything though). I didn't put on a single pound! I still can't believe it. I think my metabolism is finally back in working order13 -
bf registered his approval of my "very muscle-y" shoulders. i had to stop myself from laughing: "'very muscle-y'"?? oh honey, you have no idea what's in store, do you... :ohwell:15

I am day 3 soda free!!! I was a diet dr. pepper addict! And, I've been able to give them up completely! I've just been drinking water and switching up with some brewed un-sweet tea. I feel a lot better! A lot more clarity and not the fogginess tired I always was before. :drinker:
One that I'm kind of sad about a little  ...I'm no longer a member of the double D club..sigh my boobs are starting to leave..had to buy a new bra and asked the lady working to come make sure it was right that I was down 2 inches and down a cup size! :noway: Craziness!12 -
These are all amazing NSV's!
I am just beginning on my weight loss journey, but I do feel that I have a lot more energy!! and I feel like my body is already becoming a lot more toned : )
Also, I took my dog for a 2+ mile walk yesterday and I think he was more tired than I was : )10 -
My most recent was yesterday when my hubby gave me my birthday present. It was a dress, just my style, in a size...wait for it... Juniors 11/13. I've never been able to wear Junior clothing...EVER. I was so happy. I went from women's 2X to Junior 11/13 since Sept last year.16

Well I am only a few days in as I had never heard of MFP but was inspired by Clare Balding. Downloaded the whole shebang four days ago but so far my bank account is not squeezed from all the Weight Watchers subscriptions I've spent over the last squillion years! In addition, I am sleeping better and have more energy too!
Thanks for the thread.5 -
Completed Week 2 day 1 of C25K today - it's the third time I've tried the program, but the first time I've gotten past week one!12

Today my size 8 shorts that fit before I got pregnant with my twins finally buttoned! Still a bit snug, but they were about 3" away from buttoning the last time I tried!8

I went to a tailor to have a Ralph Lauren suit altered. I am trying to look my best and show it off. I am now at 10-11% body fat. I purchased the suit at Belk last week and trying to get it fit my body. Could not always do that before.6

I was walking beside the pool last week in my bikini and I spotted a guy videotaping me with his I-pad. 20 years ago I wouldn't have considered this an NSV, and I don't recommend doing this, but today, it counts:)15

This weekend I wore a pair of pants that I bought back in 2011.5
