Slower can be better. It gives the skin a little more time at adjust to your smaller size. Less wrinkles.

10 pounds in about 3 weeks. Only changing diet, not much exercise yet. Focusing on eating proper amounts.0

I dropped 21lbs since Jan. I hit 194 about a month ago, and the needle seems to be stuck there. I am 192 - 195 depending upon the time, but the weekly lb drop is no longer happening. Not that I mind, i am happy with the 20+lbs. :-)

In a year I've lost 85lbs. Starting off with a VLCD back when I wasn't very educated on how to fuel my body, I dropped weight really fast during the first couple of months. It wasn't til I started reading up on IIFYM that I became knowledgeable about proper nutrition & healthy/sustainable weight loss. My losses have slowed down a bit since then, but I'm still happy with the results thus far. This can't be looked at as a race, after all. I still have another 45lbs to lose & have no problems with taking it slow. (:0

61 pounds so far in just over two years. I lost forty in probably six months through exercise and clean eating, stayed there for a while, upped my exercise and lost ten more--stayed there for several months and now am making my last push to be bikini-ready and have lost an additional 10. Started at 201 and am at 139 currently. Aiming for 130-133 and training for a half-marathon! So close!0
