I'm a week shy of my 1-year mark (May 30) and since then I've lost 40.2 lbs. My goal is 41, so I'm REALLY hoping that the last 0.8 comes off before the anniversary!! The last few months have been very slow (about 0.3/lb per week), so I'm just trying to be consistent at this point.

I've lost 22 lbs since last September (approx. 15% of my weight ). Getting pretty close to target. Didn't realize until MFP, how I was eating mindlessly. Now I am ore careful of what I put in my mouth and I try to keep active.

    You guys are amazing!!!

    This thread is brilliant!!
Ditto! I want to know everyone's secret. I thought I was doing good at 1 to 1.5lbs./wk. How do you lose more than that??? I don't think I could eat any less calories than what I'm already eating. I guess it's tons of exercise; which I hate. And there you have it, I've answered my own question, lol.

    ><This much in 8 months, as its taken me ages to educate myself on health and nutrition. I do some form of strenght training, or cardio every day. Would hate to end up with a kangaroo pouch, and bingo wings, for the rest of my life. Weightloss, is an added bonus, not a race. If, I was to go on a diet, I'd join weightwatcher, but I'm not on a diet. I'm learning how to live a healthy life style, and to be accountable, with the help of MFP.

My 15 lbs in 3 months, seems so little now after reading the other posts. :frown:

Me too! But it is better than not losing anything in 3 months!

14 pounds in a month, but that includes a bout with strep and a stomach bug. It probably would have been quite a bit less without two illnesses in one month :-/

    18 kgs (44 lbs) in 2 years.
My weightloss wasn't linear since I've been steadily losing 1 kg/week at the beginning (and 0.5 kg/week when I decided to lower my goal); but I've also gained several kgs during vacations and stalled on a few occasions.
I'm happy with my loss because even though I could have lost more, my loss is stable now. It's not like I could gain it all back very easily, my body isn't just carrying 18 kgs less, it's a completely new body and still on progress.

Honestly I'm really bloody chuffed, but it has been dedication.
I can't wait to see what comes in the future.

Thirteen pounds in six months.I am happy with what I accomplished! Set out to loose 5 pounds by my 43rd birthday, I met that goal and then some. Now just want to maintain my current weight of 134.

I put on and lose the same 10 winter pounds every year during the holidays. I don't log during the holidays, and just eat/drink whatever I want. Come January 1, I get serious and lose the 10 quick. However this Feb-April I wasn't logging so I put 5 back on. Lost them May 1- today.

This may not be a competition but I think I've got everyone beat anyway. Took me 105 days on MFP to lose 3 lb. :grumble: the loss was actually in the last few weeks so maybe now I have all my ducks in a row. I would like to think so.

I'm on Day 46 and I've lost 15lbs (6.8kg) and it's the most I've ever lost in a healthy way. I'm still eating what I used to but am just more conscious of portion sizes. I'm always looking to improve my diary and get new ideas, so anyone who is happy to share their diary, feel free to add me as a friend. :)

P.S. Numbers aren't always everything. I'm learning that Non-Scale Victories (NSVs) are very important to be aware of! i.e. I didn't lose anything one week but my trousers were getting muuuch looser. Taking measurements of your waist/arms/thighs might be worthwhile too! :)

I am down 15.5 pounds in 35 days but the first 5 lbs or so was surely water weight because I lost it very fast. I am eating anywhere from 1400-1650 calories a day. Sometimes I eat a little more than that.
