What Can help Release Water Retention?

I "put on" 5 pounds, literally over weight. I recently changed workout routine and did a double session on Saturday. Next morning I woke up 5 pound heavier..
I know it's temporary but it's very annoying since my pants don't fit and I feel depressed. What can I do to help to release the water retention?
I do drink a lot of water and go to bathroom quite frequently...what else?:brokenheart:

I add lemon to my water when I feel like I'm keeping too much on. It seems to help me.

Have you tried a Diuretic? I don't know much about them, but supposedly they help for water retention. I have one that i sometimes take during PMS. I don't know if it actually helps or not though. i got it at Target. As far as natural remedies, all I know of is more water :ohwell:0
