I'll play!
omg how did you do it?
A few tips that I think are really important:
Overall: Make small but sustainable changes. Building habits is key. When it's habit, it's easy! When you make one change into a habit, begin to include another small change.
Exercise: Figure out what you really enjoy. It's different for everybody! I can't stand yoga (I've tried, a few times) it's far too slow paced for me. However, I really enjoy things that get me moving fast: dancing, circuit training, HIIT. If you don't enjoy it, you'll be less inclined to keep it up. I like Jillian Michaels (fave is Ripped in 30) and http://neilarey.com/workouts.html
Food: I love food. I eat back all of my exercise calories, using MFP as it's designed. Invest in a food scale and weigh EVERYTHING. Stick with foods that you enjoy. This includes snacks for those of us that are inclined to munch throughout the day. I snack on cherry tomatoes (or a whole roma) and individually wrapped snack cheeses and the like. Find your happy snacks, make room for them in your day, and stick with those.0 -
So much awesomeness, thank ya'll for sharing and congrats to you all!0
