going hiking soon, just wanted to know what kind of snacks should i take with me.

    I bring apples, protein or granola bars, and a peanut butter and jelly (sugar free) sandwich (wheat bread). Lots of water too. :smile:

    i like to pack nuts and dried fruit. Protein bars, fruit, and sandwiches are great choices too. Don't forget to bring water. I don't know how far you're going to hike, but I usually bring a liter for every 5 miles. It's getting hot out where I live and I sweat a lot.

    walking six miles! its been a goal of mine and i don't want to pass out!! Thanks everyone, going to the grocery store right now

    Besides water, 6 miles, to me, shouldnt need much food...I have IBS so eating the wrong food on the road could trigger something very unpleasant...I keep a protein bar in my pocket just in case but I really don't need it...
