ter529, I've done a C25k program too, and I read that it puts on muscle for the first several weeks before it starts to show weight loss on your scale, and that is pretty consistent with my experience. Keep it up and good luck!
I am joining this party a little late, but here it goes:
sw= 190lbs
cw= 158lbs
gw = 153 at the end of June
I am looking forward to going to one of my best friend's wedding in Santa Cruz in August, awesome bbqs, and a beach trip or two.
My biggest challenge right now seems to be that now it is getting hot outside when I get off work it is harder to be motivated to go out for a walk/jog which has been my workout of choice. I already leave for work before it is light out in the morning, so I am going to have to find some alternate things to do since I can't go running before work.

I guess that also explains why my thighs have been super sore since the third day workout of the c25k, the first couple of workouts were a breeze... thanks for the info.0 -

I was doing very well untill the end of the week, than too much sugar and salt and carbs, so now I am holding onto some extra water. I did spend alot of time outside, so at least I was active.

1. 60 Mile runners challenge for June --- Running way behind as of this date due to scheduling -- Not uncommon. still time to catch up.
2. June is my "month off" - translated I get to do my planning for the next school year and rest a little --- More "off" than planning thus far this month.
3. Anniversary trip to Destin (June 5 - 21st anniversary) -- Looks like there will be a slight delay since our daughter's softball tournament has been weather delayed to begin June 5... But we will get it in sometime this month ... can't miss it. Got it in Sunday and Monday. Back to the regular June Schedule (whatever that is) Tuesday.0 -

Robyn, I'.m having a similar challenge as my sodium was high and carb intake way too high on Sunday. I easily retain especially in the warmer weather when I'm active, so these weekly increases are showing it.
What are you doing to get through it? I'm drinking extra water and aiming for more protein in my day.0 -
