I try to add variety to my weekly trips.
A staple of my grocery list is definitely some kind of dairy product since I actually use to have a hard time fitting calcium and protein into my diet: Skim milk, 2% milk Colby jack cheese sticks, plain Greek yogurt
After that I kind of just enjoy my grocery shopping and explore the aisles for good foods. (I go after my workout and workout snack so I'm not hungry going into the grocery store.) I always pay attention to the nutritional facts and I actually read articles on super foods and other healthy foods in my spare time before I go to the store to be prepared.
More recently when I went I got:

Organic sunflower seed butter
70% dark chocolate
Unsalted almonds
Unsalted pumpkin seeds
100 calorie popcorn packs
Whole wheat English muffins
Turkey bacon

Broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, and cabbage. I've noticed that when I consistently mix in large amounts of any of those four items, I eat less carbs and feel fuller longer, There are several different ways in which I prepare these, but most often it is stove top, in an non-stick pan with a few tablespoons of oil, and I enjoy lots of chili cayenne pepper on the side with red meat, or garlic salt & Italian herbs on the side with chicken or pork; mix it up & just have fun with it. Its hard to go wrong!0

Staples: Local "In-season fruits and veggies".... Zuchini, Carrots, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Gnocchi, Various pastas, Various Lettuce, olive oil, vinegar, basil, oregano, and spicy peppers...Tofu, Soy Products (Milk, Soy based meats)
you can literally just mix and match things and throw them into a pan and cook em.. eat them raw on a salad or a piece of bread. Good and healthy stuff0 -
I get some stuff, like chard ,squash, corn,okra, and peppers from the garden. Depends on what part of the year as to what's in season. Citrus and some apples come from ours and neighbor's tree. I have tons of basil for pesto. Some other fresh herbs that I would otherwise buy,too.
I keep bulk pantry goods on hand and have canned things like beans, for a quick meal. Eggs come from our chickens or the neighbors. Roasting chickens I've raised myself in the freezer.

I love fresh produce but I cannot possibly afford a long list of it. I get frozen usually or try to grow my own at certain times of the year to mitigate my cost.0

watermelon and other fruits as they come into season. Pomegranates, Apples, oranges, bananas, avacado, canteloupe, you name it. I buy fruit everytime I hit the store.
Fresh green beans and fresh asparagus is normally a staple.
Special K popped chips and pretzels and popcorn normally make the list.
