Hey ladies! How much did you weigh when you went into a size 14 jean?
It definitely has to do with where you carry your weight/brand of jeans. At my highest weight, 268, I had just moved in to a 20. That was a serious turning point for me.
I'm currently 247 and am wearing a 16, though they can be snug when they first come out of the dryer.
At 220 I'm in a 14.
When I lost before, I got down to 180 and was in a comfortable 12, edging on a 10.0 -
I am 5'7 Here i am at my biggest around 245-250
And me now at 193.6
Before photos i was in a size 20
and now i am in 16 some 14's.
Do you always wear the same outfit?-1 -
Day 1 (Jan 20) 183.5lbs, 31% body fat
Day 145 (today) 170lbs, 22.5% body fat
Mom of two. I can squat and deadlift my bodyweight. I eat 2200+ calories a day. You don't need to lose a lot of weight to make drastic changes to your body.

This is an amazing thread. Congrats to all those who have been successful at their weight loss. Good luck to all those who are still working on reaching their goal weight. Together we can do this!!!0

It is very inspirational to read these threads... I have just started and lost 11lbs in a couple weeks.
As I read your jean size posts I wonder if some are quoting US sizes and some UK sizes as there is a difference.
I have loved seeing the weight loss photos but also the post from the lady who struggles from anorexia and has gained. It's all about healthy living whatever end of the spectrum we are at.
Thank you for sharing so much0 -

I am 5'6, and starting weight on this site was 204 lbs.I started this journey in May 2010, after seeing a picture of me 6 weeks after giving birth to my youngest son. I was disgusted, I hated feeling that way. I found MFP from a friend, and slowly started tracking my food, and started becoming more and more active. I joined a gym, and in the beginning, I would only go for15 minutes, be too tired and leave. (Sorry the pictures are so big!!!!)
After a couple months, I was seeing some progress.
Then I reached my weight goal - December 2010 which was 150 lbs.
I have maintained this weight now for over 2 years - so I started this year to really tone, and work on my muscles, and I am LOVING the results! So much, that I am in the process of becoming a Fitness Instructor!!!
When you started is exactly how I look now. I'm pretty sure you're my idol right now. Can I FR you?0 -
bumping and holding my spot :bigsmile:0

I'm 5'6 and very much in the middle of this journey. My starting weight when I got serious was 242 in December of 2013. I'm down 26.4 lbs now at 216. My goal weight is 155, and I would be fine between 155-160. I notice the weight loss in my face, arms, calves, breasts, and stomach already. Can't wait to see what the next 25 lbs holds!

This is a great thread!
I am 26 years old, 5'6'' and starting weight/current weight is 200. I wear a 12/14 in jeans.
Goal is to get healthy and happy - which for me, I think is around 150 and a size 6/8.0 -

That's only a three pound difference. 149 to 146. But I lost almost 2" off my waist, about 6" off my hips, finally got under 24" around my thighs (23.5 and 23.7 but STILL. lol) and though the measurement hasn't changed significantly in my upper thigh/lower butt, there's been a significant visual change. *I* think, anyway. lol0 -
This is my "go to" thread for inspiration. Thanks everyone.0

Bump because this thread is awesome, and soon I'll have before/afters to share!0

BUMP! Absolutely loving these posts! Stories and photos like this make me realize that it is possible and motivates me to keep going! Thank you all!0

I agree. I have been cruising through the 'Success' threads in hopes of keeping my motivation up! I'm only a month in and it's around this time that I (historically) start slacking.. I want to be in the best shape of my life. The only thing that is stopping me is ME!
Ladies, you all look wonderful!0 -
I'm 5'6". No photos yet (maybe I'll have someone take a picture of me soon though, maybe at 50lbs down) but my story so far:
April 2014: 250lbs (Highest in my life)
CW: 209lbs
GW: 140-150lbs
I'm not even halfway there yet, and sometimes I can't imagine I'll ever get there. But then I look at my ticker, and remember how agonizingly long it seemed to take to get to 20lbs. And then 25lbs. And then 35lbs. And then 40lbs. I feel right now as though I'll never reach 50lbs down. And yet....0 -
I am not sure if I have posted in here before but here are some updated photos.
I started at 251lbs and am now around 160lbs, my goal is 140 and I am 5'6".
First time in my life I haven't had a double (or triple) chin.
