It's personal preference. I weigh daily, but record weekly.0

whatever you feel like but just make sure its at the same time when you do it.
for me its every saturday morning at 8am at the gym sans shoes
i have found as i gauge where i am at during the week that i can swing almost 4-5lbs because i am weighing myself at 6pm in the evening0 -
Weekly is a good choice. If you are watching the scale every day, the normal weight fluctuations will drive you crazy (personal experience there).

I record my weight at the same time every Monday morning in my bedroom ie same place and same scale. Its up to you x0

i wei myself twice per month or every 3 months0

Hi
I believe weekly, but can't seem to help myself every morning :laugh:0 -
So disciplined!0

Well done on your weight loss - amazing!0

Weigh Daily except weekends, but only record every Friday. Same time, same clothes, same scale each day.0

I weigh every morning, but only record it once per week or if there is some really significant change after my weigh day.0

I weigh myself every morning, it seems to focus me for the day and record it weekly. That way I also know if the trend is downward even if I haven't lost on my weigh in day as so many things can cause fluctuation in your weight day to day. A large meal the evening before can add 2lbs, constipation, fluid retention, or too much alchol the evening before will dehydrate giving a false loss, to name the main culprits0

I wiegh myself every morning and every night.... Im trying to break out of weighing in the night. Im going to cut out the night time weighing in.. it just helps me to keep things on track..........0

Weekly is best. Daily is too often.0

I weigh once a month on same cycle day0

I think it is up to you, but today I was suppose to weigh myself, but my daughter brought up a valid point. She stated that she did not want the numbers on the scale to ruin her day. So I my self did not weigh in today, even though I am pumped for my weight loss journey I am not ready to look at my progress yet.

I'd stick to weekly, try not to obsess with the scale.
The scale isn't a report card, it's a tool to help you watch your weight trends over time. If over the course of 5-6 weeks you notice your weight is slowly increasing consistently, then it's time to re-evaluate your calorie intake.
Weight can fluctuate from so many factors that it is inefficient to try to measure it every single day.0 -
Weekly. Any more and it gets obsessive.0

Weekly is probably best for most people. I do it daily out of habit but really only count my weigh in on Sunday as 'official'.0

An age old question LOL I weigh in daily but I do so knowing my weight bounces up and down. In one day I can see a shift of 3-4 pounds. It is really personal preference at this point. Some say it is bad to weigh in daily but it really isn't as long as you go in to it knowing the weight will vary from one day to the next. If that really bothers you then go weekly or even bi-weekly. You have to do what works for you!0

I weigh every Sunday on the same scale BEFORE I eat anything and AFTER using the bathroom.0
-
Its personal preference. But like everyone else says, once a week. I have a bad habit of almost twice a day, but no matter what the scale says, I just keep on pushing through0

I weigh myself 4-5 days a week. I agree it's personal preference, but for me weighing closer to daily helps me figure out what triggers small fluctuations. Also if I only weighed in once a week and it happened to be a day when my weight had bounced up for some reason (high sodium the day before, etc.) I might be more discouraged than if I weighed in more often and had a better idea of my general pattern.0

Weekly...or never. Go by what the mirror says, how strong you feel, and/or how your clothes fit.0

I weight myself every other day with dumbbells and barbells, works great for losing pounds and building muscle.
Edited to add: It helps to make my pants loose.0 -
I weigh myself every morning first thing before breakfast and after using the washroom. I only log it when I see a consistent loss.
If the daily fluctuations are messing with you and making you feel frustrated then you might want to switch to a weekly/biweekly weigh in.
Be sure to take measurements and progress photos too. One month I lost only 1 lb, but I lost at least 1 inch everywhere!0 -
I weigh my self pretty much every time I walk past the scale.0
-
Before and after #2. Then I record the weight loss on MFP before I eat my daily calories.0
-
I weigh every morning, but Saturday mornings are the only ones I count. The daily thing at this point is just habit. Right now, I'm not really putting much stock into the scale and focusing more on lifting and inches. My clothes are fitting better. The scale will go down eventually.0

I weigh daily, and only record losses.0

It bums me out so I try to do it about once a week. If you're counting calories and exercising, and unless you're some kind of magical exception, you're probably losing weight. If it stresses you out, limit the number of times you do it. For me, the number affects my mood a lot, so I try to limit it. If I know I've been getting the calories and exercise bit wrong, then I sort of know what the scale's going to have to say about it.0
