NSV #1 - DH brought up the box of "other season" clothes, so I went through all my summer T-shirts. I only retained TWO, the rest were all too baggy for public showing. That means I am no long a 3X, or a 2X, or a 1X!
NSV #2 - On May 7 I had to buy a new pair of chino pants because the old ones were falling off. THIS week I had to find a belt to help hold the new ones up! Hmmm, maybe I'll just stick with the elastic waist for my next purchase; that should fit longer.9 -
NSV #1 - I recently bought a size 10 petite dress. I can't remember the last time I wore a size 10!
NSV #2 - Two of my co-workers commented on how great I look, and asked me what I've been doing
NSV #3 - My skinny jeans don't fit any more...in fact none of my jeans fit any more lol8 -
My daughter ran to me when I picked her up from daycare. She hit her face on my clavicle and it left a bruise on her face.

Had to go out and buy new jeans as they were all falling off of me. SINGLE DIGIT SIZE! Woot!9

wearing 1 size smaller in my underwear now.:blushing:8

One of my favorite pair of shoes, sling backs, would not stay on because they're so loose. Debating whether to see if the shoe repair place can punch another hole for the buckle or if I should say goodbye.
They are pretty unique, so I'm not ready to let them go. But it's a sign I've lost weight in my feet.2 -
This morning I got in a uk size 12 pair of jeans!! Whoop!! 4weeks ago I could barely pull them over my hips!! Whoop!5

Walked up 6 flights of stairs to attend a meeting without my legs killing me. Been focusing on leg strength so that gave me some happiness.
Also my pants are starting to look riduculous because they are so loose (yay!).4 -
For the past 6 weeks, I've worked out every day except for 3 days.
I have no clothes which are "tight".
I can run for 25 minutes without stopping.
I can pick up my 5 year old with ease.
I am so much happier!!18 -
i was wearing a 3X shirt back in October of 2013, on a hunch i picked up a Large t-shirt this weekend and tried it on....THAT MOTHER EFFER FIT!!!8

Ran into an old acquaintance at lunch and she didn't recognize me. Second time this has happened in the last couple of months10

Seeing veins pop out during lifting i never knew were in my arms, at least seen obviously. My 42 size pants look like a drawstring crown royal bag all loose at the bottom but bunched up around my waist, and my belt is out of notches! :grumble: Sometimes being a man and hating shopping makes things difficult.9

Today a co-worker who is straight forward, noticed I had been losing weight! She asked if I had lost 20 lbs and I told her I had lost 15 and she said she could tell from the back and my waist. I got this big smile on my face and had to give her a hug for noticing and letting me know she noticed. She has given me the motivation I needed right now to keep going! I have been on a plateau and just adjusted my calories.
SHE MADE MY DAY/WEEK!!! :drinker: :bigsmile:13 -
I don't know if this is the right place for it, but I wanted to share.
One of my co-workers is a small feisty woman, who often challenges everyone to arm wrestling matches. She challenged a few of the guys. She brought in chocolate to work on my birthday, so I said I'd arm wrestle her for the chocolate, then flexed. She looked at me, said "No way, I'm afraid of you!" and ran off.
I'm 40 to 50 lbs overweight, but working out regularly, and I can see a difference in my arms. Apparently she did too!
Second one: I went out for a jog with my spouse, and did not have to slow down to walk once. We weren't jogging quickly mind you, but still. I haven't been jogging in years, so I was quite happy to do a 3 km jog that easily.11 -

1)Cleaned out the closet today. The clothes that used to be too tight are being passed on, as they look like clown pants! Lol
2) i decided to rock the bikini this year, even with stretch marks, and 10+ lbs to go. I reqlly feel okay in it too!11 -
Now into "training" for stuff and less focus on calories in/out. Much more fun and exciting. Plus, I get complimented a lot more these days. All glory to God!12
-
I can fit into a size 6!11
-
Being able to get my scrub top off over my breasts without too much jumping and tugging! Ha!10

BIG NSV day for me today...went shopping All of the pants I tried on were size 8 and almost all of them fit. One pair was even too big! I bought a pair of size 8 white linen pants to replace the size 12's I was trying to get into before I started this (I was wearing a 16 at the start) !!! AND. All the tops and dresses were a MEDIUM! AND - oh I am not done yet!!!! I bought a size SMALL Maxi dress!!! Yes I said it a SMALL - when I came out of the dressing room with the medium on I asked the sales lady what is wrong with this dress she said - uh - It's too big!!! LOL! and got me a small. It fit perfectly.
<--- this profile picture - me rocking size 8 pants and medium top from my shopping trip today!10 -
My NSV was tonight!!! Needed a casual outfit for my mom's retirement brunch tomorrow and I literally had no clothes beyond tees and workout gear that actually fit me. Went shopping and fit into a SMALL knit top (the 34D's haven't been in a small top in years) and the dressy shorts were a 6!!!! I tried on a 8 first and they were a bit baggy! So freaking excited right now, I'm beginning to feel more like myself than I have in the last 5 years :-)12

My most recent NSV was a confidence boost this morning when I was feeling especially puffy. I'm down to my last five (stubborn) pounds until my goal weight, and this morning I was very aware of my love handles.
I went into the employee area at work, and overheard two of my coworkers talking in the other room who didn't hear me come in. They were talking about working out, and one mentioned that her main goal was her figure. She said she wished she could have a smaller waist but still have nice hips and curves, like I do.
All this time all I could see was the extra pounds in my hips, and it turns out that others see it way more positive than I do. It changed my perspective and made me feel pretty good about my body24 -
I knocked 5 minutes 58 seconds off my 5K time... 36 mins 40, down to 30 mins 42! :glasses:
(The first one was Jan 2nd, the second on May 31st)
This...this is what I'm looking forward to! Awesome job!!!2 -
I actually tucked my shirt in for work all last week. The only other time I've tucked in the last few years was when I wore a suit jacket to hide all the rolls.
Plus all my belts are on their last loop!6 -

I bought a Speedo. I had no idea they didn't go bigger than size 38.
But after losing 55 pounds, I've got one now!5 -
I ride the Expresso bikes at my gym as one of my forms of cardio. They run monthly challenges, but I've never been able to get anywhere close to placing in the top 100. This month's challenge was to ride at least 100 miles. Last night, I rode 20 miles (the most I had ever done in one session before that was 12 miles) and I hit my 100 miles for the month, 10 days early! As of last night, I was ranked 84th among women.
I never would have thought I could do that when I started taking my health more seriously thirteen months ago. I've been frustrated lately because I haven't been losing pounds (though I've been losing inches), so this was a confidence boost I really needed!9 -
Today is my wedding anniversary! 18 years, its a victory in my book:-) ... God bless!7
