Yes, I have done Insanity a few times! Here is a link to my YouTube video since I don't know how to post pictures in here. You will see my results though. Layers of fat came off that I didn't know would come off! It's an amazing workout routine!

You are an awesome motivation. I would like to be a runner someday. Glad Insanity is a great start!
I did 4 straight rounds of Insanity - from October 2010 to June 2011. In that time I lost around 53 lbs. (213 lbs. to 160) and went down from a size 18 to an 8. In June I moved on to and completed The Asylum and started running. Thanks to my long stint with Insanity I was able to run 3 miles my first run ever. Now I am a running junkie. I have run a 5K, 10K, 15K and completed a half marathon in October 2011. I am currently training to do a marathon. I don't have any before or after pics, but thanks to Shaun T. and Insanity I am a new happy person.
  • Just finished Insanity a couple of weeks ago. Was also wondering how other people faired with this program. I lost weight and inches but didn't do any measuring. As someone else stated, I am not quite sure how to add photos, but they are posted in my blog, makeitorfixit.com if you would like to see the before and after pics. Since finishing Insanity, I have decided to do ChaLean Extreme to continue to stay in shape. Check out the pics.

I did the fit test last night to start my madness- I'm sorry- journey! LOL:) The fit test wasn't as bad as I had imagined, but I just think that I have myself scared silly! I just finished a 6 wk bootcamp, so I'm not gonna lose any speed. I took my before photos last night and cannot wait to see some results!
I am so excited! Am I crazy?

    http://www.danoah.com/2013/11/this-is-how-the-insanity-workout-changed-everything.html

I completed round one of insanity just about the end of September, and my before and afters are photo'ed in my profile if you want to take a peek, labeled with day 7 and day 63. The above link to a great blog, written by Single Dad Laughing, describes my feelings on Insanity to a "T"!! I just finished the read, and I thought that anyone who is even THINKING about doing Insanity should definitely read this. It's a little long, but at the very least, read the last page. I LOVED the program and I LOVED my results, but as he said, they were NOT what I expected. In one way, so much more!! And in others, disappointing. If you take one thing away with you and remember while doing a program like this, it's LET GO OF THE SCALE!! That number means nothing. Sure, it's how we almost all judge ourselves, but in my last 105 days on MFP, the most important lesson I've learned, is that the scale is one big fat liar into our fit level.

I agree about letting go of the scale, if you get a tape measure the flexibile kind and keep track that way you'll be able to what's really happening to your body. I'm only one week in and have gained 3 pounds which is really depressing knowing how healthy I'm eating and how hard I'm working. I feel better which is what matters most, but I have no doubt my body is going to be changing for the better ditch the scale!
