    Negatory. Not a "bad" food.

foie gras doesn't taste good. It's not horrible, but eh. I can leave it. Any of the "modly" cheeses (bleu, gorgonzola). 99.99% of Alcoholic beverages

I had this Ethiopian chicken dish once and they use a spongy bread type thing to scoop the food with and the chicken was delish, but that spongy bread stuff was disgusting.

Exactly! Excessive calories in the form of vegetables and whole grain bread, I guess. I'm wondering if this is one of those, "if I say I don't like it, I won't eat it." Those people that are like, "Ew, that fried chicken is so greasy. Do you even know how they cook that garbage? I'll just have a salad," when you know inside they're like....

I really, really dislike garlic bread. I don't know why people are obsessed with it, if I have any I have to drink a tonne of water to get it down, and I get a headache! :((

For me it's hotdogs, mayonnaise, marsipan, Hershey's, Scotch eggs, pork pies and McDonald's. Most processed meat products except for a good quality sausage or hamburger.

Have the people saying haggis tried it? Just curious. Anyway, it is actually pretty healthy. I understand it sounds gross but so does a hotdog when you think about what's in it.

What exactly does "English food" mean? When people say this I ask them for examples and it usually becomes obvious they don't really know what English food is.

most of what they sell in krispy kreme. really too sweet and no flavour besides sugar, or occasionally caramel. There are exceptions, but most krispy kreme is just fancy decorated sugar.

I like my donuts less sweet and with more flavour.

am surprised so many people dislike mayo..
I mean, I don't eat it by itself but I do like it in sandwiches, wraps etc.

several people mentioned cotton candy - is that the same as fairy floss?

I agree, I don't like that either - or anything too sweet or rich like marzipan, Mars bars, mud cake.

cotton candy is what I called candy floss when I was a kid... I'm from southern UK.. maybe it's called fairy floss in other places?

that's silly - not the disliking manufactured pastries but the diabetes comment.

Diabetics can have manufactured pastries in small amounts and non diabetics can have manufactured pastries in a calorie controlled amount and not run any greater risk of becoming diabetic.

It was a joke! Not a comment! It has no relation to "the becoming of a diabetic" theory. It's more of a metaphor for how sweet manufactured pastries can taste, in my opinion!
