Must be a woman thing... as I have NEVER pondered baby names.
However, I have come across several that I wondered what their parents were thinking:
1) Candace (Candy) Valentine - Her B-Day was Feb 14th.
2) Long Dong
3) Honey Bear Hoover

Since when is Connor a hipster name? I know a guy in his 40's named Connor.
I really like names typically used for the opposite gender. Like Shannon for a boy or Ashton for a girl. My husband isn't a huge fan of that, so we probably won't do that with our kids.

I am more annoyed by obnoxious spelling than obnoxious names.
I know someone who named her daughter Ryliee. WTF is the point of the "i' if you're going to put a double "e" on the end? Your child's name will be spelled incorrectly 97% of the time for the rest of her life. Congrats.0
