  • Yay outerloop "Houstonians"! I'm in the Katy/Richmond area, just recently transplanted from Oklahoma.

I loved my home state, but between Kroger, HEB, Specks, Trader Joes, and all the awesome restaurants, I can't really say I miss much about it other than the friends I left behind.

Military transplant to Lubbock, grew up there... Decided to become a Sooner because I would rather die than become an Aggie and being a Raider was not an option... Came back and am now living in DFW...

California born, but I got to Texas as soon as I could  I've been in TX for 15 years, longer than I lived in CA.

Lived in the panhandle for 5 years, but now I'm in NW Houston.

As a Californian, I hope they are all in Texas--and stay there.

We are. And we plan to. Texas is the best country in the world.

This made me laugh. If you're not from here, you don't understand. Add me if you like.

Just read an article breaking down which states the people moving to Texas come from. The overwhelming majority came from California.

Sorry, those are all my relatives. To be fair, they originally moved from Texas to California, they're just coming back.
