._. Soy bacon. Omg. I crave that stuff. Wish it wasn't so friggin expensive though. I've found that since I've started dieting again I crave meat all the time, it's weird.

Soy bacon is not meat nor is it bacon!

My husband and his family eat the following combos:

    1) Mac n cheese, pork n beans, cut up hot dogs, ketchup all mixed together in it's own bowl.

    2) French or Catalina dressing on mashed potatoes instead of gravy

    3) Chicken noodle soup poured over mashed potatoes (this one I would actually like to try)

    Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.

Edit to add: looks like I'm third, so I guess it's not that weird after all. I also get a lot of grief for cottage cheese with diced onion and ground pepper.

I used to eat Lay's plain potato chips and would smother them in maple syrup. Don't know if that's considered weird, but I got a lot of odd looks.

    Escargot...

personally, I don't find it that crazy or weird...that said, my wife and I are the only ones we know that eat it or have even just tried it.

I also like drinking a good swig of pickle juice straight from the jar when I get done with a good long bike ride.

My husband puts casear dressing on mashed potatoes, he also puts it on goulash. Just the thought of it makes me gag.

I don't think this stuff is that "CRAZY AND WEIRD" but some people might raise an eyebrow at it - I recently had haggis for the first time, and OMG I'm in love. Also, black pudding. Mmmmmm...

Ravioli right out of the can.

WOW I used to love when my dad would have to cook dinner - he'd heat up canned ravioli and put it on buttered bread...MMMmmmm....ravioli sandwiches.

I'll start with mine: I LOVE LOVE LOVE white raw mushrooms, cottage cheese, and sunflower seeds all mixed together. Sometimes I add a dash of ranch powder.

 How did you even think to try that as a combination???

Well, I was at a salad bar and they were right next to eachother and I just HATE lettuce salads. So sqeaky when you crunch a big mound of lettuce..gives me goosebumps. LOL So these are my fave things on the salad bar I thought what the heck!

In school....5th thru 8th grade, I would mix the mac & cheese with fish stix and ketchup.

I still do this - minus the ketchup. On my cheat days. :)

I eat the skin when I eat salmon.

You mean we aren't supposed to eat the skin, its the best part!

Cream cheese slathered over potato chips

And I also have eaten more raw than cooked hot dogs in my life.

I've been told potato chip sandwiches are weird, so to some people they are. Perhaps it's the orange marmalade.

I often used to eat raw onion and mayo sandwiches, hot noodles with mayo mixed into them, and I love raw bacon.

I don't eat these things anymore tho :(
Onion and mayo Sammie's are yummy!

Mac n Cheese with cut up hot dogs, ketchup, and a bit of ranch dressing all mixed together. So good.

Pimento stuffed green olives right out of the jar paired together with a chunk of sharp cheddar and eaten at the same time mmm.

Fried eggs over white rice with ketchup.

Fried spam with a layer of mashed potatoes on Italian bread.

    Octopus salad.

    Guava paste with white cheese.

    Grilled cheese and pear sandwiches.

Mango chunks dipped in crunchy peanut butter.

Chicharonnes (fried pork skin) chased with an ice cold Malta

Freshly roasted crispy chicken skin on bread with cheese.

    Mayo and cheez-it sandwiches.

where do you get guava paste? and what else do you do with it? guava kills me...
You might find it in a Latin grocery store. I used to eat it with Monterey Jack cheese,
When at my friends house who is Cuban. Love that! Might have to have it again soon.

pickled herring.... in fact I want some right now!

Yes please! Although it's mostly a christmas tradition, but with the curry salad/sauce thing on top - YUM.

In my family we also eat a type of stewed cabbage called "krøstekål" with sugar and cinnamon on top. DELISH! It's also called "christmas cabbage" and is basically only eaten in December. :)
  • When I was pregnant I discovered peanut butter and bbq potato chip sandwiches! Delicious!

    remember some more!

Chips on sandwiches and burgers (fries work too)
Sour cream, cream cheese, and chives rolled in a tortilla (add meat at times)
sour cream in my chili with a peanut butter sandwich for dipping
cream cheese in my chicken noodle soup
bbq chips (grippos!) dipped in French onion dip
ranch and Italian dressing (mixed) for dipping everything - fruit, veggies, chips, meat, etc
  • Bacos bacon bits drenched in wine vinegar, pickles, olives-love sour stuff!
