    Go to NYC every year to see my in laws these are so true. I tell you every time I go my whole attitude and personality changes almost into the HULK when dealing with the public.

    Agree with all except for #1, NYC always smells like hot doo-doo in the summer.

    I found the empty car at the end of the train to be quite useful if I needed to collate a hand out for a meeting mid-town. Of course, any anti-social person seeking solitude in the end car would leave me alone because they figured I was probably crazy. That's the thing about the city, it's live and let live. If you are behaving outside the norm you will be left alone to do it.

    I lived just off Broadway on the Upper West Side for 5 years and then moved to Montana. Talk about culture shocks!
