I've eaten it with granola for breakfast, but now I'm in a cottage cheese rut... any ideas? How do you eat it?

Drained canned peaches or pears.
Fresh vine ripened tomatoes.
Avocados.
Those are my three favorite cottage cheese toppings.0 -
Usually with a lot of fresh fruit ... strawberries, blueberries, peaches, pineapple, take your pick0
-
Pineapple!0

I just eat it plain, but pineapple is great with it too.0

That's what I do, too. I love blueberries and cottage cheese.0 -
use it in lasagna!!! unless you're not eating pasta…0

CC is pretty bland, so I like to spice it up with finely chopped red onions, or salsa.0
-
cantaloupe, watermelon, peaches & tomatoes0

I ate it the other day with some mandarin orange fruit cups. It was pretty good. Most of the time, tho, I just eat it on its own with some salt and pepper.0

My fave is with whole grain pb cherrios and a banana.. I eat that most days for breakfast. xD
I've also mixed in ranch powder and used it as a dip for carrots and other veggies!0 -
Cavendars Greek seasoning and celery sticks.0

No pasta for me... same with spicy foods0 -
Usually don't eat it but when I do, I like melons (cantaloupe or honeydew) with it.0

- cherry tomatoes, oregano, black pepper;
- cinnamon, blueberries, almonds (and sometimes honey/maple syrup);
- tuna and tomatoes;
- chocolate protein powder and almonds.0 -
I hate cottage cheese, but I can eat it if it's covered in apple butter (LOTS of apple butter)0

There's not a lot I won't eat, but cottage cheese is definitely on this list. Even if I could get past the way it looks, then there's the whole texture thing. Maybe that's to distract one from the taste.
Hubby, however, loves the stuff - he eats it generously covered in black pepper. Once in awhile with canned peaches instead, but mostly just cottage cheese and black pepper. Blecch.0 -
I use it as dressing for my salad I love it with spinach, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, baby portabella mushrooms and pepper.0

Love it as a topping for baked potatoes! With a nice big green salad!0

I eat something I call a "protein bowl". It is cottage cheese, tuna, dark red kidney beans, and avocado all mixed together in a bowl. It sounds really weird.. but it is soooo good . You can substitute the tuna for any meat really.. I've used turkey and chicken breast too. I've also put sauteed onions, mushrooms, garlic and hot sauce with it too.0

Israeli brined cucumbers
Cottage cheese pancakes
Ontop of baked beans - not for everyone as it looks quite messy, tastes really good with Tabasco0 -
Nothing.. it's not readily available here. But when I was in Russia I loved cottage cheese stuffed buns (piroshki) and cottage cheese in thick pancakes (syrniki) - assuming cottage cheese is the same as quark (tvorog). If it's not, then I can safely say I've never had cottage cheese..0

Typically vomit.
I hear other people mix various fruits with it.0 -
I love it with fruit
I add tuna with salt n pepper0 -
I like it on a crispbread with maybe a little slice of ham, some swiss cheese, and/or some nice tomato or mango chutney.0

this is going to sound strange but this is what I used to do (lol)
The normal topping is black pepper. It really works and it's yummy.
Heres the weird:
horseradish. If you like spicy, try it, seriously.
Ketchup. yes I'm serious, a tiny bit to turn it pink colored.
Mayo - it's not the best LOL
gravy - I think gravy is good on most things and cottage cheese was no exception
toasted bread - simple and yummy
thousand island dressing - kind like ketchup and mayo it just tastes interesting.
Yes I have tried all these things, no I wasn't pregnant (LOL) and they tasted pretty good. I don't eat cottage cheese anymore but yeah I would suggest mainly black pepper, freshly ground.0 -
My favorite way to eat it is with berries or pineapple. Also good on a baked potato.0

That actually sounds pretty good to me.0 -

oh I forgot, scrambled eggs or sunny side up if you like them runny. That is REALLY good. Cold cottage cheese and freshly cooked scrambled eggs . ^_^ oh yummy...0

i put it on pasta with a little parmesan or eat it in a sandwich, but i like the idea of it with scrambled eggs.0
