    I'm 5'4.5 right now at about 200 wearing size 18, when I was 160 I wore 11's n when I was 140 I wore size 10. I have larger hips n thighs.

Let's see. I track sizes by old navy/gap using old navy sweetheart jeans

    204lbs - size 14
    185lbs - size 12
    172lbs - size 10 - medium tops
    158lbs - size 8 - medium tops

At 150 i tried on a size small jacket. It fit but it is tight. I can fit into most size 8s I've tried on & am wearing a size medium yoga pants.

    5'4" here, 135/size 6. They're getting big, so hoping I'm in a 4 soon! 125 is my goal.

178 lbs, size 12 or 10 if stretchy. Should be bigger for what I weigh but I guess I'm compact lol. Wish I was like an 8, think 6 would be too small for my frame.
    Edit: 5'4.5

First post, just started using MFP 2 weeks ago and am enjoying taking control of my eating habits. I'm another 5'4" gal, currently 157 lb and size 10 (can *squeeze* into some of my old 8s).

Loved all the data in this thread, but thought it could use being put in a graph with a trend line so that we could all make a bit more sense of it! Hope you all like it

Great graph. Thanks for that. I'm a data junkie. For me the line is less straight. When I was 240 a couple of years ago (Size 18-20), I read somewhere that 10lbs equal a size, but it took me to 200 to get to 16s and then I stayed there all the way through my 190 plateau months and not until the low 180s did I get into a 14 (tight). A bit of a thunder-thigh myself and lose the weight faster on the top end so that might make a difference. But I'm hoping I'm at the 10lb per size now because at 172 the 14s are too big and I'm in a 12 for the first time in ... (I don't remember when).

I'm 5'4 ; 173lbs and wear an American size 8 or 10. Note I do more weight lifting than cardio now, prior size 10 I was about 165lbs.

I've noticed that every 10 pounds lost is one pants size (for me and it looks like your numbers show the same). I have a lot of muscle, so for me (at 5'4) 140= size 4, 150=size 6, 160=size 8, etc. I'm trying to get back to a size 6.

My goal is a size 6. I am currently in a mix of 8's and 10's. Hoping in the next 15-20lbs I make my goal!

I'm 5'3.5" and 170lbs wearing a size 13-14 comfortably. My highest weight of 227 was not enough room in size 20.

I need more muscle and less fat.

It will vary a lot depending on body shape, body fat, muscle etc. 150 lbs of fat vs. 150 lbs of muscle will obviously look very different.

Personally, I am 5'3'' and currently 120lbs. I have a small waist and carry most of my weight in my hips/booty (pear-shaped). I am usually a size 4, although brand sizes run so differently that I can wear anything from a 00-6 depending on the store. I wear a lot of European brands, in which I have to go up to a 6-8 ... for a store like Banana Republic, I wear a 2(petite!) in pants, and I can squeeze myself into a 00-0 for skirts, depending on the cut (ie. not pencil).

    I am 5'4
    151lbs or a little less
I wear a 7/8 currently. God knows how many variations of sizes US clothes stores carry.
