    I'm astonished that anyone else remembers Manimal. One of my all-time favorites. It never shows up on the rerun channels or the streaming services, not that I've seen. I guess the fact they only made 8 episodes may have something to do with that!

    Well one of the main charchters did die IRL, so there is that. I hoped it would go longer as well. Probably just becuase I want that guys life owning a bar in the Keys sounds like my perfect job.

    They cancelled it before he died... but yeah.

    I am so not a sci-fi fan! I love, love, love everything Joss Whedon and I tried watching this on Netflix and just couldn't get into it at all. I love every actor in it and I love Joss and it was well-written and everything, but it just didn't "do it" for me.

    But now I'm reminded that Doll House should have lasted 50 years. That was a great one (and an exception to my sci-fi aversion).

    I might be late to the party again, but Soap. My mom would tell me about the show and when it came out on DVD she got it. The way season 4 ended you could tell there should have been more seasons and sometimes I wonder how it would have ended if it wasn't so abruptly cancelled.

    I liked it too, despite it's wonky take on the WoD. Don't let your lead actor ride motorbikes...

    Also loved "Space - Above and Beyond'. I think it was ahead of its time as well.
