Postcard Challenge Round 15!!!

The Postcard Challenge is very simple... Post your weight as of 21st January and I will make a note of it in my handy dandy notebook. Then, in 2 weeks (4th Feb), post your finishing weight and if you are the biggest loser (i.e. you lose the most weight), I will send you a postcard from the city that Elvis called home... Memphis, Tennessee!!!!
AND... This is the biggie... You get to host the next round!!!!!

I would also love you all to make some pledges, nothing big, something you can reasonably stick to for 2 weeks.

As an example, these are mine:

Have at least 20 minutes of walking three times a week
Drink only one diet soda a week
Be under my calorie goal every day
And finally the best one of all...
Use my new Just Dance game for the Wii for 15 minutes three times a week

I don't know that I'll achieve all of them but I'm going to give it a try!!! :smile:

So, if you want that postcard (and I know you do!), post your weight tomorrow, pledges too (I won't hold you to them, but make them something you could stick to).

Oh, and please feel free to add me (then you'll know when to post your final weights, 'cos I'll put it on my status!).

    Goals:
    1-No more "all or nothing" thinking - get over it an move on girl!
    2-Yoga DVD at least 3 times per week
    3-Tuesday stair stepper 2 hour challenge
    4-Dance party w/ my kids every week night (15 mins or more)

    I would hate having to move away. And the postcard challenge is one of the first things i did here on MFP and it helped me so much!

  • Oh what an interesting idea. I'm in. I will post my starting weight for you in the morning. I was going to wait to weight in on Monday but this is so unique and I need to weigh myself for my 50 lb by July 1 challenge anyway.

    Congratulations again, Charlotte Rose90. Your postcard will be sent tomorrow (We don't actually have any decent postcards around here, so I'm going to print a picture and send it).

    I'm weighing in this morning at 198.5lbs!!!

    Don't know what's happening at the mo. I seem to be gaining weight!!!! Pah! It may just be muscle weight but I'm taking measurements and they are reducing! So I must be doing something right?

    My goals are

    To do a HIIT workout 3 times
    To do Strength training 3 times
    To remember to do my calorie cycling

    My goals are to hit 10 cups of water a day
    Workout at least 20mins a day
    And the one that got away in the last challenge.......i will get on my JD2 at least once a week!!!!!!

    Yay!!! My starting weight is 195 :)

    My goals are...

    1. Drink more water.
    2. Take my dog for a walk at least 2x a week, instead of just letting her out in the yard.
    3. Utilize my SIRIUS for dancing, since I can't yet afford the Wii games :)
    4. Try a new veggie!!!

    My starting weight as of this morning is 164.8

    I pledge for the next 2 weeks:

    1. To walk my dogs daily
    2. to get in at least 8 weight training days in
    3. to drink 12 glasses of water daily
    4. to not eat out
