2. Fitbit One
3. Dumbbells
4. Proper exercise clothes (really puts me in the mood to exercise... Lol)
5. A good leash and body harness for my dogs.0 -
New Rules of Lifting (for women, in my case)
My whole outlook changed with that one book0 -
Crikey I wouldn't know where to start, there are so many things I have bought on my fitness journey that I would immediately replace should they break/stop working:
Fitbit One (I LOOOve this little gadget)
Polar FT Heart rate monitor.
My resistance band - just great for mucking about with at home.
My gym membership - truly money well spent
Really decent trainers that are the most comfortable footwear I own.
Dumbbell set (okay, I'm cheating on this one because the boyfriend purchased these).
Also some great things have been free such as various fitness phone/iPad apps, like 7M workoutm yoga workouts, Runkeeper etc...0 -
Heart rate monitor (Polat F4 I think...not at home at the moment)
made me so much more accountable and encourages me to exercise.0 -
Foamroller!! (with spikes)
Cant go wrong with a foamroller0 -
Foamroller!! (with spikes)
Cant go wrong with a foamroller
This 100% this. ....... no 'spikes' on mine0 -
Dumbbells. I have a cheapo set by The Firm and they adjust from 1 up to 7 pounds. I bought them three years ago before I learned more about heavy lifting. Now that I'm exercising again, the dumbbells are tiding me over until I have the money for a better set (I'm getting the PowerBlock Sport 5.5 set soon!).0

My bluetooth headphones for running (no more wires!)
Fitbit Flex
Full weights set for home0 -
My fitbit I love it gets me to get my daily steps in0

I was going to say bicycle as it's transformed my fitness but looking back further I would have to say buying a gym ball (a.k.a. Swiss ball) was the best purchase ever.
It's what enabled me to rehab my injured back enough to train harder/longer/stronger.0 -
Currently, it's my elliptical. I bought it gently used for about $130, and I use it nearly every day. I used to have a HRM, which I also loved to wear while running, but I used it so much the strap broke. That will probably be my next big purchase. I think it was around $100. My P90X DVDs got a lot of use, also, as do my dumbells.0

Garmin forerunner 110
My kayano running shoes
2 of the best purchases I have made!!!0 -
Hands down - Bodymedia Link Armband
Or Turbojam, because if I never purchased the program, I would never be where I am today.0 -
My Oly bar and plates - I can lift whenever I want without leaving the house.
Closely followed by my Fitbit - it's great for reminding myself to stay active.0 -
Recent motivational purchases that I love:
- HRM (Polar FT4)
- Weirdly, my new gym bag - my old one was falling to bits and the new one (from Roxy's Sugar Me Up range) is all funky coloured and makes me smile every time I use it.
- Kettlebells: bought a cheap 12kg and 7.5kg to use at home
- new breathable tank top found cheap at TK Maxx (new workout gear always motivational )0 -
Hometrainer.
It's placed in the bedroom, facing the television.
It satisfies my inner couch potato, and keeps me reasonably fit.
And for long stretches of time, it has proved to be a very artsy clothes hanger.0 -
Mine would be:
My bike
My weights and squat rack
Fitbit Flex
Foam roller0 -
Gym membership0
