Husband's Birthday this past weekend. He requested Chicken Pot Pie for dinner.
Kids wanted to make him breakfast so we made greek yogurt blueberry funfetti pancakes.
We went to dinner at a new lobster/crab shack (in St. Louis, but it was surprisingly good/fresh!).
I started with Lobster Frito Pie - house made pork rinds with frito seasoning, chili, lobster meat, cheese and sour cream.
Lobster Boil
Husband had a lobster roll
Dessert: blackberry pie with soft serve vanilla ice cream

Here is the Mac N Cheese Recipe. I used mini shells instead of elbows and used organic white cheddar. Tossed in some Brie and a container of sour cream. Was the creamiest and re heated well.. Oh also added ground Chipotle pepper.

Made a BIG salad for dinner tonight. 2 ounces roast turkey breast, corn cut off the cob, tomato, cucumber, green onion, garlic, raisins, mixed baby greens, beets, red bell pepper, portobello mushroom. 2 tbs coleslaw, salt and pepper.

My first attempt at making Tempura. The color needs some work but ddaaaammmnnnnn it tastes gewd!!
The top (darker) is Sweet potato. Going clockwise is PattyPan Squash, Onion, and then Zucchini strips.
