another 45 mins - 4km this morning, looking forward to another this afternoon!
On a side note: I am finding that walking that much is putting me into a calorie deficit that I am not feeling the need to eat back. I have MFP set to 500 cal deficit already, and in the past week I have only met/surpassed it once in regards to my diet.
If I add up the calorie deficits from both eating and exercise, I can be down 1000 cal (in a full walk to an from school, and walk home from gym day - 10km according to MFP internal calorie burn amounts for walking)
I suppose I will have to wait and see what the scale says in a week, but I honestly do not feel weak/hungry?0 -

I'd like to join. I joined a walking challenge at work, 10,000 steps a day for 10 weeks, starting September 15th. I'm starting to ramp up my walking a little bit right now to get ready. There is no way I'll reach 10,000 steps a day, but I'm hoping that the motivation from co-workers participating too will help encourage me to at least increase the amount I walk.
I walked yesterday during my lunch: 27 minutes, 1.6 miles.0 -
Day 4 - 9/4 - walked - 20 mins... swam 30 mins.0
-
Cumulative: 36km since Sept 10

I know I'm very late but I'd love to join in, I've never been a jogger/runner except for those times when you have a lot of pent up frustration/energy to sprint out! Walking is my go-to!
I'll be starting tomorrow- happy for anyone to friend request my way!0 -
