Mine is just a strawberry banana smoothie. Boring but so so refreshing. :)

    2/3 cup almond milk
1/3 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
    1/2 cup frozen sliced strawberries
    1 medium banana

    Clocks in at 195. :)

And obviously, you could add spinach to it to make a green smoothie, or peanut butter for some more protein, etc.

I use a store brand fat free blueberry or strawberry yogurt (best consistency for me!), a banana or two (depending on how hungry I am), and a mix of berries. My favorite is strawberry and blueberry so far. Generally comes in at a reasonable calorie count!

Now that I've discovered melting peanut butter and chocolate together, I now want to see if I can perfect a banana-chocolate-peanut butter one with good macros. 8)

Last night I made a really good smoothie
    a small frozen banana
    a tablespoon of peanut butter
half cup of unsweetened almond milk
240 calories and it tastes great!
Did you use that PB2 stuff or something like Jif?

Kale, flavored coconut water (pineapple or orange mango), frozen fruit mix (pineapples, papaya, bananas, and strawberries), and chia seeds! You can add some greek yogurt for protein and a creamier texture. In place of coconut water, you can add 1/2 cup of flavored kefir and 1/2 cup of water. I love the pomegranate kefir from Trader Joe's.

2-3 cups almond milk (depending on your preferred consistency; I like them very thin. 30 calories per cup of almond milk, 60-90 calories total.)
1 cup frozen strawberries (I buy Walmart variety. Total is 50 calories per cup.)
1/2-1 packet sugar-free, fat-free pudding mix (chocolate or cheesecake tastes delicious when added. 50-100 calories.)

If you make a smoothie with 2 cups almond milk, 1 cup frozen strawberries, and 1/2 packet pudding mix, the total calorie count will be 160.

    Other combinations are:
almond milk, 1/2 head of ice berg lettuce, ice (optional), 1-2 tbsp matcha powder.
almond milk, frozen mango, butterscotch pudding mix
almond milk, splenda, frozen pineapple, coconut extract

If you're looking for a creamy texture, I suggest adding 1/2-1 cup yogurt or some silken tofu.

  • One cup of boxed coconut milk, one scoop of vanilla protein powder, one tablespoon of cocoa powder, sweetener of your choice, and additional flavorings of your choice - I like almond extract. 167 calories.
