I've found that the more I keep working out, the more I find my libido lowering. Does anyone else have this problem?

uummm, no. Having the opposite affect on me.0
-
Really? Mine has increased... I'd like to see what people say on this...0
-
Ha! The more I work out, the better I feel about myself. The better I fell about myself, well...let's just say the happier my husband is.0
-
Huh? Nope. It's supposed to have the opposite effect.0
-
Mine has increased slightly now but it took a while. It did drop considerably when I started because I became aware of how uncomfortable I was with my body and therefore didn't want to be naked or to have anyone looking at me. Now that I'm nearly 40 lbs lighter I'm feeling myself get that confidence back and feeling "frisky" again. give it time.0

Mine has definitely increased... in part, I am sure, because the exercise has helped up my endorphins and I'm not as depressed as I was before.0
-
Mine goes up b/c I feel better about myself.0
-
Opposite. Especially right after when my blood is really pumping (and I don't mean that in a dirty way).0
-
I have noticed this, I thinks its because of the hard workout and more rest is needed. Of course, the hubby is not so pleased:/0
-
sorry mine has incerased also.0

We see posts like this all the time but overwhelmingly the response is the OPPOSITE. Blood flow, self confidence, better mood and a host of other things make people feel they have INCREASED sex drive since.0
-
It could be a sign of over-training.0
-
I'm more all about it then ever before but maybe it's just a lull or a plateau for you, if you will. Try looking up natural healthy foods you can add to your diet and maybe getting a little more rest. If your fatigued that could explain the situation.0

I actually find the opposite. The more I work out, the more weight I lose, my libido spikes.
This is potentially dangerous for my husband.0 -
I'm the complete opposite as well...maybe you aren't eating enough and its causing a lack of energy? I didn't look at your food diary, so not sure, just a thought.0
-
mine goes up too...seems like my hubbies the one telling me no more often lol!0
-
Mine went up then back down. You feel good about yourself, buth there are times where you are too tired. Maybe you are trying to get too much done during the day on top of working out? I hate to say this, but maybe all of the positive changes in your life make the other stuff seem less exciting than they were ......it will balance out and adjust:)0
-
Are you eating enough calories for your increase in activity? And are you doing that stupid South Beach crap that is HORRIBLE for your body and leaves you with ZERO energy? I wonder if you are eating enough good carbs.0
-
Nope opposite here up up up!0
-
I've found the opposite to be true!! Maybe you're not eating the right stuff so your energy is low by the end of the day? I don't know, but GOOD LUCK!!0
-
Mine (along with everyone else's apparently) has gone up.
I always has the problem of not feeling like I looked good enough. I've only lost 5 lbs but I feel great. I'm glad that I have been working so hard. Some days I am exhausted, but others I am just...well...you know!
Not eating enough could cause you to become tired quicker. That's what it did to me.0 -
I don't think it's my diet but I have been working out pretty much every day. Although, I have cut down on my carbs quite a bit. It's a bit depressing because *before I started working out so much, I used to pretty much jump on my fiance every day.0
-
Total opposite. And I last longer now!!!!0
-
Increased for me as well, a lot!!!0
-
Sorry, kinda sucks for you
I hope it gets better for you because you are supposed to have an increase.0 -
I've always had a fairly high drive, but now I'm an uninhibited nympho (uninhibited enough to tell you that, lol). Anyway, my sex drive went crazy when I started eating right and working out.
I think my husband sees it as a blessing and a curse, lmao.0 -
I would have to agree with the vast majority on this one. Maybe you aren't taking in enough calories and you've just totally lost your energy?? Hope it is just a temporary thing.0

It could be a sign of over-training.
+10 -
Im into overdrive here. But self control is the name of the game for me. Something else for me to control... argh...0

In general, It seems to go up- howver, it takes awhile. Right now I have started a new program and have very little interest.0
