Take that PB&J, add in swiss cheese, and grill it until the cheese melts.0

Can't I just use Goobers? It shaves like 23 seconds off the prep time!
Ya give an inch, they take a mile! I love Goober. I think I'm going to have to buy a jar, now that I know it'll be safe from my spoons. :bigsmile:0 -
Martin's potato bread may just be a gift from God straight into my mouth. I appreciate your gentle reminder of it's existence!
Oh, any time! I tried other potato breads, but they're just not the same. Must be the flip-flop material.0 -
Welch's concord grape is only the best jelly ever made and the only acceptable jelly for the perfect PB&J. Along with skippy pb (not the fancy natural stuff). You need PB on both slices of bread and jelly in the middle, to prevent leakage on the go!
See, she knows where it's at! :drinker:
Why oh why is everyone forgetting one of the most important parts?!
The cut. It must be cut diagonally to offer the best access to inside the sandwich.
Oh. And Knott's strawberry jam all the way.
I can't wait that long to put it in my mouth. I've forgone the cut!0 -
Ok four versions of the peanut butter thing:
Peanut butter and strawberry jelly....white bread
Peanut butter and honey.....white bread
Peanut butter and marshmallow fluff.....white bread
and last but not least
Peanut butter and mayonnaise. ( Don't knock it til you've tried it. ).....white bread.
????????????
Ok, fine! I'll try it.0 -
PB&J is now set up to be my breakfast tomorrow...and maybe the day after.0

If you are looking for a peanut butter with impressive stats- check out Better'n Peanut Butter. It's hard to find but may be at the local health food stores.

It's delicious! Martin's is my favorite, and it has 8g of protein in 2 slices. It makes great French toast, too. :bigsmile:0 -

You lost me at potato bread. What is this marvellous creation and is there anywhere I can get it in England?!
I feel I'm missing so much. This thread is clearly no place for a Brit.
