What is your secret food addiction?

Try Zuppa Inglese and Zabaglione while you are at it!0

Fritos.
And Reeses cups.0 -
Chocolate - just the solid type, not chocolate flavoured stuff. Also anything caramel. Somehow celery just can't cut it after that.0
-
Angie's Kettle Corn. I think I've single-handedly funded her kids' college education.0
-
Chocolate peanut butter, especially the one made by peanut Butter & Co. and cheese, pretty much any kind, lately my fave has been Swiss, but I love all cheese :-P0

Southern-style banana pudding. I could eat it by the vat. If I had unrestricted access to banana pudding and a good sturdy spoon, I would be huge. I don't dare make it at home, because I would polish off the entire decadent batch. But it is a staple of potlucks and barbecues. I don't even really care for most of the ingredients on their own...but somehow mixing the bananas, Cool Whip, vanilla pudding, sour cream, and 'Nilla Wafers (in all their soggy deliciousness) turns it into heaven in a bowl...without a doubt, my favorite white trash comfort food.
I have never even liked banana pudding all that much but now I'm craving it! LOL
My guilty pleasure foods are cheapo chocolate (I can't have Halloween candy in my house) and "bad" Chinese...like orange chicken, cashew chicken, sweet n' sour chicken...the kind that is super Americanized style with little fried chunks of white meat in a sweet, savory sauce with maybe a sprinkling of carrots and/or onion. I'm pretty good these days about taking it easy on the accompanying rice, but I still really like that meal and if I have leftovers from a huge portion it's unlikely they will last 24 hours in my fridge.
As for the cheapo chocolate mentioned above...for some reason the "good stuff" I can enjoy moderately. See's dark chocolate or Ghirardelli truffles will last my husband and I for quite awhile and we stop at one square or one truffle. But when I'm around say, mini Snickers or Kit Kat bars, a serving size seems to be nine to eleven mini bars. So I just avoid it.0 -
Maple Bars...OMG! So yum!!! (One of my students bought a whole box to class last Saturday and I just "sniffed" the box  ...didn't even touch one..I was so proud of myself!) :bigsmile:0
-
Hummus....in particular Fontaine Sante caramelized onion flavor......there is no other brand that tastes this wonderful to me! I buy it Costco-sized and it doesn't last long. It's not MY fault that it says right on the package: "Best consumed within 5 days after opening", right?? :bigsmile:0

Pizza and chocolate... OMG, I want pizza for lunch with chocolate for my dessert... ugh... lol0
-
Trader Joe's jalapeno cheese crunchies. I CAN eat the whole bag.0

Food in general but my worst offenses come from:
Cheese - I have been known to sit and eat a block with or without crackers
Pizza
Chips
Cheap Chocolate (anything but Rolos- those are nasty)
Cookies
Rosemary & Olive Oil Triscuits - with or without cheese0 -
Pizza, fried chicken and other bread and/or cheese heavy foods. It's why I once weighed 293 pounds.0
-
kraft dinner , veggie dogs and ketchup - need to make a vegan version asap
zoodles or alphagetti on top of bread
all dressed crispers
black licorice
but none of these things are secrets0 -
just look at me, me obsession is no secret. all of it. all food.0
-
Pizza, cannoli's, anything ooey, gooey and Italian. Sigh. Off to eat my salad.0
-
G.H. Cretors Chicago Mix Popcorn from Costco. They should require a prescription to buy that stuff.0

Food
I agree with this guy.0 -
Salt and Vinegar chips, and fresh baked garlic bread. I could literally eat a whole loaf if no one was watching. Mmmmm0
-
Smartfood white cheddar popcorn. However, since I leave little pieces of popcorn in my wake while consuming said addiction, I'm not sure how secret it actually is. Any kind of pizza is a more public addiction.0
-
Grapes...mmmmm0
-
McDonald's bacon, egg and cheese bagel beats the biscuit..... LOL0
-
Peanut butter! The interesting thing is, I only discovered it through MFP (it's not common where I live). Still, I managed to lose almost 10 kg. Moderation is key
And, I wouldn't call it an addiction, but I don't think a single day has passed by in the last few years without me eating tomatoes and/or tomato sauce.0 -
Cheesecake, nothing better than a good slice of cheesecake.0
-
Sushi, especially tuna and hamichi (yellowtail) otherwise Japanese food in general, but mainly sushi.
Oh, and Pad Thai... unfortunately that is a trigger food for me and I just went up 3 pounds talking about it.....
hmmm... I do have something to celebrate this weekend....0 -
I'm not addicted to anything, but there are things I prefer...
I could live without these things if I had to, but I don't deprive myself, nor do I eat them on a daily basis.
Cookies; Trader Joe's Vanilla Macaroons (the sandwiches, not coconut flakes), Trader Joe's Triple Ginger, Oreo Lemon Creme, Mother's Taffy sandwiches, and some of the Pepperidge Farm Coffee Collection/Entertainment Variety.
a DAMN GOOD Tiramisu
Panna Cotta
Steamed Artichokes with Lemon Butter Mayo sauce
Stuffed Mushrooms
and when I'm in the mood, a Cheesy Quesadilla.
