Women 5'2 to 5'4 Ages 40+: what's your weight goal?

45, 5ft 1.5" and this morning I weighed 157.4, I started on MFP at 172 went down to 152 and back up to 160. Working my way back down 1 pound at a time so my current goal is 156. My stretch goal used to be 125 but now it is to wear a size 6 pair of Levi's and not worry about whatever weight that is, I'm in a size 12 right now.0

Age 56, 5'2" and currently aiming for 115 - 120 although I'm looking more for a "fit" body fat percentage in the 15-20% range rather than weight (especially since I've been doing heavy weights). Began at 170+ and am currently sitting at 124 and just picked up a size 4 pair of jeans! SO close!!0

I am 46 and today I was 126 lbs. My goal is a bit lower than this for appearance and for running. For appearance I would like around 118 because I THINK the belly will be not sagging at that weight (but I don't know because I haven't gotten there yet) but for running I would like to be about 110. Carrying around extra weight makes it harder to run. Would like to get faster but with the extra weight it has been difficult.
Health wise my weight is fine. I have normal cholesterol (but I also did when I was 40 lbs heavier), normal blood glucose, normal triglycerides, a crappy thyroid but that is easy to deal with. My family history isn't good with regard to all these small things so would like to keep things on the healthy side.0 -

I'm 5'3" and weight around 130.. I'm almost 50. My goal is around 15 or so pounds I'm leaving it to how I look not a certain amount of weight.. I'd say I have a soft body just like my Mom did at my age with somehow looser arms, legs, wearing the same exact size clothes as she did - despite working out for hours March-now.. does anyone have any tips for how to tone up that particular body type at my age.. (Yes I've done weights and saw zero difference so that didn't work.. I did a circuit at the gym for a full year then quit..) Is there any hope??0

I am not in my 40's yet but I am 5'2". My goal weight is to be at 140 but I wouldn't go under no more than 135. The first time I got to my goal weight it took me almost a year to do and thats the way I wanted it too. The some of the weight has creeped back up on me but I continue to watch what I eat and to stay physical as well.0 -

I am 45, soon to be 46 and 200 pounds
hope to lose 30 pounds, never been a skinny chick, always been chunky
my largest was 245 and I got down to 185 then crept up to 200
I only seem to lose weight on 1000 calories a day, and its soooo hard for me to do.

I am a curvy body type, so I'm watching because I don't want to get too thin. I've worked out enough (running) that I feel like I have lots of loose jelly fat left, so I'm starting a weight training program next week to try and get that burned and pulled in all nice and tight. If that makes me pick up a little poundage in the process, I'm ok with it.0 -

I have 2 goal weights because in my post pregnancy (19 years ago), I've never been able to get below 150. I want to try to get down to "normal" and see how well I can do with that.

Hi, I am 5'4 and currently weigh 209. Started last week off at 216 and my goal is 145-150, though right now I am just focusing on getting back to my pre baby wait of 185-187. My beautiful (3rd) baby boy is 3 1/2 months old now and its time for me to kick it in to gear!0

This is when I look my best, and it is not too difficult to maintain. But I won't go crazy with this goal, under 120 is OK.

I'm almost 5'2" (I used to be but I'm shrinking) and I'm over 50. I hover around 120, but was able to get to 118 for a couple of weeks. I want to get to around 112, but it's a struggle to stay under 120. It's tough to eat at a good deficit when you're this short.0

I am 5ft2, just turn 33 this Oct. I am at 189lbs. I had managed to shed 50lbs ..and it really took a long time to look the way I am now,without risking the weight to shot back up. I am glad that I learn to eat healthily and regular exercise to stay fit

Second goal at 177-170lbs
