    It is seriously TOUGH self-loving huh? ..... I agree with Sandy .... you spend so much time hating our bodies.... that to look at yourself in a new manner and actually say "I LOVE ______" .... is tough ... but very good for us .....

    Amy -- i agree with you ... I appreciate every little inch or curve that appears.... because when i was thinner i just didnt appreciate it ... i constantly talked about how big i was etc... and now i look back and would DREAM of having the body i use to have! So thanks for reminding me! :D XO

    Cathy--- Awwww SOrry about the sore throat! FEEL BETTER GIRL ! good job on getting the healthy kinda sweets!

    Sandy -- hehe JAYLO butt LOL ..... too cute! i love how our men see a diff woman then we see !!!!!!! :o)

    Today I love my eyes, not the bags under them, just my eyes! I have hazel eyes...I love the way they change colors depending on what I am wearing.

    I have hazel eyes too and love how they change with the colors I wear as well. Sometimes they are bluish, sometimes brown, other times green. Can't beat that and no matter what weight I will be at, they will always stay that way.

    Hello! FInally getting a chance to jump in and update my "stats", and say a quick hello! I LOVE reading everyone's "Love" comments. I've never seen this blog so active before. :) I ended up losing just over 2 pounds last challenge, which I'm gonna take, seeing as how I joined half-way through and had a bad week in there somewhere. Today I love my eyes. They are very blue, and althought I don't really see it when I look in the mirror, I get a lot of compliments from others. Yay - I love that.

    I am having a stellar week. Keeping in my calories every day, no straying for unscheduled snacks, and exercising every day with the exception of tonight because I have a work meeting. I should do something, but I'm very sore from last night so I'm giving my body a rest. I'd love to chat some more, but I've gotta scoot.

    Weeks half over! Yayaya!

    I am a fan of Off The Map too! I need to take myself to the gym tonight though so I will have to watch it later this week or this weekend. Love DVR! How did we ever survive without it?

    I feel myself getting better and better with this food logging and working out. Today I brought lunch and then decided to eat something else. In the past I would just bag logging for the day....today I changed it all and still came in under goal. I will have a hard time eating my exercise earned calories. I am thinking of experimenting for one week and not eating them back.

    Today I am struggling with the body love. Actually feel a bit weird today, I’ve spent the last couple of weeks really enjoying seeing a slimmer (albeit on slightly) me. And I looked in the mirror this morning and saw the fat monster again looking back at me. I haven’t put on any weight this week, in fact I think I have probably lost that nasty pound from last week. But still… the wibbly wobbly monster was lurking and making me get sad all over again.

    BUT I put it down to no exercise this week…. Not necessarily affecting me physically, but mentally. The happy vibes have softened. SO! I have hidden my scale (well the boyf has) and I am hoping my leg feels better so I can at least do a bit of exercise tomorrow!

    So to love……. I love my brain. I love it for being so clever and devious! I love it for loving the exercise that I think I hate and I love it for reminding me that I need to pursue this and I need to keep on going.

    I also love it for realising that there is actually nothing wrong with my body at all, and that this diet and weight loss is not the be all and end all of my life right now. But its something I can focus on and achieve in a healthy, happy and intelligent way.

    (and I love it for starting this post in a right hump and finishing it in a much better place)

    I have been MIA for about 2 months now and would like to rejoin the group. I am sorry for my lapse just not very motivated lately but trying to recommit to improving myself.

    I love the challenges for each week so here is today thing I love about myself

    I love that I my daughter is a priority in my life and that I am willing to stand up for her no matter what. This may sound silly but she was just diagnosed with Apraxia and I am having to make sure she is getting all the therapy she can and needs,

    Today I wore this cute pink tee to the gym and when i saw myself at the huge mirror anddddddddd i loved my curves , i could feel my muscles toning up too !

    Good morning gals!!

    Today, I LOVE my legs! They have carried me around no matter what size I've been. They allow me to run and to jump...they allow me to prance around in the living room with my daughter! They allow me to stand tall and proud of who I am!

    Last night was good! Had a good workout...I can feel my arms slowly getting stronger!! I do a few more reps every day! YAY!

    Plan for today:
    Food--
    B-Oatmeal, light juice, coffee w/sugarfree creamer
    S-Banana, breakfast bar
    L-Salad (mixed leafy greens, broccoli slaw, spinach, cucumber, spritzer dressing), boiled egg, light yogurt
    S-Pear and probably almonds
    D-Homemade light french toast w/sugar free syrup! YUM!!
    S-Rice crispy treats

    Exercise--
    I haven't decided yet. Tonight is my easy night and I usually just do a 15 minute workout (Abs, Lower Body, Upper Body or Total Body) but I'm kind of thinking I may want to do my Yoga Meltdown tonight...we shall see...

    It DOES get easier!! I know the first time I did it I about died!! But slowly and surely you will get stronger and it will get better!! BUT...it will probably be harder next time because your muscles will be sore...so be prepared! But I promise you will see results if you are consistent with it!! Good luck!

    Welcome back Tracy! It is difficult to stay positively motivated constantly. We are the brave ones... we do it everyday, every hour, every second of our lives. It is in the forefront of our thoughts. Every time I look in the mirror I struggle with... Is this really me or am I seeing what I want to (or don't want to)? We are with you though and I want to just stop everyday. But I don't! Stay with us girl!
    Arwamya... Keep loving those curves... I think it is better to look like a woman than a boy!

    So...today...I'm having a hard time with body image. Ate salty/bad last night...really wanna get on track today. Bad cold, cough and sick children...just one of those days I wish I wasn't doing daycare and I was able to wrap my 10 year old up in a blanket and lay behind her all day comforting her (and getting some TLC myself so I can recover). First time I've worn sweats while doing daycare in almost 2 years and I'm not feeling guilty about it. Ugh. So...body image? Not so good today cause I feel frumpy and very blaaa.
    So...I would maybe say I like my eyelashes. They are long and dark. I've gotten compliments on them from strangers and that's always a great feeling. :) ((((cough, cough...)))))

    Starting my day off with a homemade smooth of blueberries, banana, non fat plain yogurt and a scoop of protien powder. We will see how it carries me through until lunch.

    Today's love- my nose. I know, silly me. But I do have a nice nose. It is perfect in size. It is one of our family traits that comes with the last name McGarry.

    sorry i haven't updated in a while phew!!! ive been sooo bus :noway: anyway I lost 3.5lbs in the last challenge..I'm ready for february though!!! :laugh:

    I love the new tasks for each week!

    I LOVE - my eyes, they are reallypretty and a beautiful bright blue i think they're my best feature :tongue:

    What do I love about my body today... well so far we got the hair, teeth and ears this week so let's move away from the head for today...

    Ummmm.....I love.... my blood... okay, I know it just keeps getting weirder....

    I am donating blood on Friday which is what made me think of it.... I love my blood because it can help save the lives of others and it is so easy to do. Canadian Blood Services is even bringing a blood donor clinic to my workplace which makes it even easier... All I have to do is walk across the hall and donate... done...

    I just have to hope my iron and blood pressure is high enough. I am slightly aenemic and tend to have really low blood pressure so sometimes I can't donate. I take iron pills but my body doesn't absord them well even when taken with Vitamin C which is supposed to help your body absord it.

    i don't have anything to love today. i am still battling this sore throat. i think i may need to go to doctor. i don't have a cold, just sore throat and left ear hurts. i think i may have a slight fever.

    well off to get some soup. sorry to complain.

    Just like a marriage we are here for you 'in sickness and in health'. Hope you feel better soon. I am wondernig if you have an ear infection which can affect the throat.

    My eating has been much less the past few days- Ive just really had not much of an appetite. So its been chocolate milk(fat free) and pretzels. Last night my amazing man made my favorite dinner of all time- chicken piccata- and normally I eat til I feel sick! Well last night, I ate very slow and only ate about 1/2 of what was in my bowl. I started to feel not hungry, so I stopped. I wanted to eat more, but I wasnt hungry so I forced myself to stop! PROGRESS!!! :)

    I just need to progress myself to exercising now. I have a gym membership complete with a tanning package - already paid in full through APRIL! And Ive only been to the gym a handful of time :frown:

    What are some ways you guys motivate yourselves when you are feeling/have felt very anti-exercise?

    Today I LOVE my feet. They are petite feet, and have yet to give me any problems :)

    Good afternoon!!

    I worked out again day 3. I am loving every part of it! I have even been really good about logging in my food each day. I hope to see some results next Tuesday!

    Yes the weekly challenges have been awesome, I can't believe were are on day 3 and we have already made it to 4 pages. I think that it is good for everyone. Coming on here everyday is making everyone feel more accountable for everything!

    My love for today is my hair! It doesn't matter the length, the style or the color, I always love it. I have always had shorter hair, and when I met my husband I started growing it out. It is now almost to my bra strap, WOW it is the longest that it has been in at least 10 years. Just last night though, I was telling DH that I am thinking of cutting it. Maybe in like another month I will do it. It will be like a new do for my new transforming figure, hehe!!!

    I am so sorry Tracy for the news on your daughter, at least you now know what it is she has...weren't you before trying to see what it was that was going on with her? I have been going through some struggles at home with DH losing his job and DD just recently used scissors to cut her eyebrows and eyelashes(she's 10-I think she is rebelling against all the stress in the house). The only advise that I can give you is to take a deep breath and remember God will only give you as much as you can handle. And guess what? This is your challenge in life, this is not a bad thing, this is only a stepping stone to make you stronger for yourself and your family. You are a MOM, you were build strong to take whatever comes your way!!

    I love my lips LOL ..... All the better to smooch up my sweet baby with! :D ..... this morning i asked him if he knew he was mommys best friend... and he said YES and gave me the sweetest baby kiss! :D ......

    Went for a walk with him .... and have been eating healthy, journalling every bite for FOUR weeks now! ..... finally feeling like such a natural thing to do instead of something i have to make myself do!
