  • OK, I need a little motivational support! I'm going to a friends surprise Bday party tonight where there will be a ton of good (ie, GUILTY) food and a good bit of drinking.... "Lord help me to not stuff my face and drink too much beer!" I think I'll take a bottle of wine to share and when that bottle is gone, I'm on to water. Maybe a good size salad before we leave so I don't fell tempted by the table full of delicious finger foods and appetizers. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS??? LOL

    I would eat before you go. Then even though you see those foods, you'll be full and won't eat any. You can eat some, but you REALLY have to watch how much goes in. Sometimes we tend to over do it when it's a group of people and we aren't paying attention.

    I would say just keep an eye on it. Maybe eat before and only plan to eat a slice of cake (yum) That's what I would do.

    Oh, and then work out a few extra minutes to burn it off tomorrow, haha!

    Today is weight-in day!! I'm gonna have to weigh in tomorrow morning. I wasn't near my scale this morning(I'm picky about my scales) But I hope that everyone else will do it!

  • Wel, I didn't do TOO bad last night - had a nice big salad before we left. I had a small bit of buffalo chicken dip (at least Amy made it with healthy versions of the ingredients!), but I did manage to drink a whole bottle of Merlot..... LOL feelin it a little bit this morning. Haven't done my measurements yet, but weight is 146.3!!!! Happy with that!
    I'll let you know my measurements when I get home from work!

    I'm hoping I did well. I went a bit overboard last night, which it came back on me with the worst stomach ache ever. Back on it today though

    Wah wah!!! Definitely need to get motivated to get to the gym more because I gained back the few ounds I had already lost. So my starting weight is 176. Good luck everyone on the challenge tomorrow especially since it's Super Bowl Sunday!!

    We weigh in on Saturdays, and a new challenge starts on Sundays! If you weigh in on a friday, or sunday, that's fine too. Just as long as you post it here.


    So i decided to go ahead with the challege since I work tomorrow and then will be heading to a Superbowl party...

    Soo....

    Fitness Challenge:
    - Burn at least 3500 calories (BTW, that's one pound!)
    Healthy Challenge: ( we will start with something simple, just to get us going. Also, if you've got ideas for any challenge let me know!)
    - Drink 5 or more glasses of water. 8oz or more each cup!

    You can choose to do just one of the challenges, or both!
    At the end of the week, Friday or Saturday. Let us know!
    Use this format to keep track of it if you like
