 Is anyone up for another Skinny Saturday Challenge? I am! I am often tempted to undo everything I worked so hard for during the week on the weekends. Let's do a SSC to keep us focused! I could use some company...are you in?
Here is what it entails...think double, double, double....whew!
Double your exercise today! I am shooting for an a.m. workout and a p.m. workout.
:drinker: Double your water intake....within healthy limits of course!
 Double your effort to eat clean and healthy and log every calorie that crosses your lips!
 We can sooooooooooooooo do this! Bring it on Mr. Saturday!
And....don't forget to check in and out and let us know how you are doing. Take a few minutes to encourage a new friend in the challenge

 Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere we go! What is your game plan?
:drinker: I am ready to start chugging water....that is the hard part for me. I am looking forward to some cardio this morning and pilates this afternoon. If the weather stays nice I will get a walk in. I soooooooo needed this! Thanks for joining me! :smooched:0 -
Good morning everyone. I woke up this morning and hummed and hawed about doing a work out. I decided to do it then changed my mind. I did this twice! I finally did some yoga. It was only 20 minutes though. Its P90X extreme yoga and I had a heck of a time with it! But I still did something.
I'm having oatmeal and raisins for breakfast and already have my veggies organized for my salad that I will have at lunch. I'm not doing so good with the water so far but I still have all day0 -
First 362 calories burned, first quart of water down, off to work!
Let's get busy!!0 -
I almost forgot about this! So far I've done nothing out of the ordinary..hot tea with splenda and lemon and a bowl of rice krispies..as soon as the Dish network guy leaves I'll do some exercise (which is not the norm for me) Have a great day everyone!0

I did some jumping jacks with my son (who is an early bird). He just wanted to do them this morning, so I joined him. It was fun. I haven't gotten around to the water, but the day is just starting. Right now I'm trying to think of what to have for breakfast, and for the rest of my meals.0 -
Thank you! I absolutely neede this today! I can do this!0
-
Count me in too! Weekends are when I decide to 'rest' and the next thing you know, I don't log in for another 3-5 days! I don't want that to happen again because it's like starting all over again. I have already upped my workouts, but I can still stand to work a little harder. I've done more calorie burning this week than ever and I want to end this week with a real bang!0
-
I'm in (for the most part)! Getting over some sort of flu-bug so I don't have the energy to workout. However, my weekend enemy is sodium. My Sat challenge is to drink double the water, and eat half the sodium! Better go get some water! :drinker: :drinker:0
-
Maybe this will help a little. I always start the day with water. I even keep a glass of water with me while I'm having coffee. Before you know it you will have had almost half of the water that you need. You did right to do the jacks with your son. You can make your workout time sort of a playtime game with him. I have made my daytime workouts into recess for my kids. It gives them some exercise too and it seems to make the 30 minutes go by even faster.0
-
Okay... I'm up, and I'm here...
I've already gotten in one glass of water. I typically drink 8-10 glasses of water a day, so doubling that brings me to 16-20! I'm not sure I can make that, but I'll increase it and we'll see where I end up at the end of the day!
I had steel cut oats with some agave nectar in it this morning for breakfast. So, I think I'm off to a pretty good start on that part.
No exercise yet. I have some running around to do, then I will be walking with a friend this afternoon at a park. I am not a morning person, and I can't do morning workouts, so that will be the start of my exercise.
Good luck everyone!0 -
Okay I am up and have already had my coffee and breakfast. I had a monster smoothy for breakfast which includes spinach.
No water yet but plan on 8 eight glasses at least today if not more.
I have done 44 minutes of Yoga and (954) Wii Free Steps for 148 calories.
Will post the rest later. Good Luck everyone.0 -
Thanks, this is really motivating! I went to a body conditioning class this morning but wont be working out again because i've got lots of studying to do
Have already logged all food I've had/will be having today, which will hopefully stop me from resorting to snacking while studying!
Will be sticking to my usual water intake which is pretty high.
good luck everyone!0 -
Ok, this morning is off to a better start than yesterday. I also got out my 52 oz. cup (it's an old X-treme Gulp from 7-11) for my water today. Today is also going to be ligth workouts, like playing around with my kids and cleaning. I hope everyone is doing well.0

I'm in. I totally blow it on the weekends. I did the EA Active sports and worked out on the elipticle trainer this AM. (45min and 25 min for a 606 calorie burn) I plan on giving our puppy an extra long walk this afternoon. Plus I need to clean the house. That always works up a sweat.
I have drank 64 oz of water. Now I need to really watch what I eat. Thanks for the challenge.0 -
I am in. Just finished an hour workout and I will have another workout tonight. I really ate too much for Vday on Monday so I need to do this today and tomorrow!!! Thanks!!!0
-
This is exactly what I need! I diet so well all week and on the weekends I mess everything up. I am going to extend this a little bit and have a Skinny Sunday too! Thanks for this motivation!0

I'm totally with you on Skinny Sunday too!!! If you post a thread for it, I'll join in!!
I went for my walk at the park with a friend. We do one hour, and normally that would be all I would do for the day. Plan to do a C25K run later, and might squeeze in a DVD. The DVD depends on accessibility of the TV. My daughter has her friends over watching movies right now.
I've finished 4 glasses of water so far. So I'm halfway to my norm... but it's already 3pm. Not sure how much extra I'll get in, but I'm always good on water, so I'm not too worried about that part.
Had a piece of whole grain bread with some natural peanut butter and a banana before my walk.
Glad everyone else is doing well!0 -
Lunch today was Kale and Bean soup, wholewheat toast with Mozzerella cheese, and tangerine.0
