Hi everybody, I am new here, and this is my 3rd day!
I don't have a huge amount to lose, but just wondering how often you weigh in? Daily, weekly?

I think weighing in weekly is the best. Because daily, your weight can go up and down.0

They say you should weigh in once a week, but I weigh in every day. I don't mind the fluctuation and it helps me keep my goal front of mind. Do what works for you. If daily weigh ins would make you crazy, then by all means go longer between each one. Good luck!0

Thanks everybody, that's what I thought... weekly is best, but i think i might do it daily for a bit... just to get myself going!!!
Well done on all your weight shed!!!0 -
I usually end up weighing everyday but I do an official weigh-in every week.0

I weigh-in every other day and esp after a free/cheat day/meal...just keeping it real.0

I weigh myself everyday because it keeps me on track too. I also read in a fitness mag. that there was a research study that found alot of people actually did better loosing weight weighing themselfs everyday because it motivated them to try harder. That definitly runs through my head when I weigh myself everyday. Everyone is different though.0

I do it twice a week, Mondays and Fridays.0

I weigh myself everyday I have to, or else I go crazy:explode: , but I don't log my weight down until my actual weigh in is due0

I'm a firm believer in weighing in every day. I lose at a much faster rate weighing in each day as it helps me to make better decisions since I know that the next day I will have to get on the scale. I don't worry at all about the day to day fluctuations but I make sure that from one week to the next (Thursdays) that my weight is going in the right direction. That said, do whatever you think you can sustain over a long period of time.0

I weigh in once a month.0

I do daily, just because I really can't resist xD0
-
I'm guilty of doing it every day.0

I weigh myself daily just because the scale is right next to the shower, so curiosity gets the best of me most mornings. I only 'count' my weigh in once a week for tracking purposes.0

I weigh in everyday just to make sure I didn't gain any weight0

I weigh in daily but only log it once a week0 -
Every Friday morning-ish0

I weigh myself daily and keep track of any fluctuation more than 1/2 pound with an app on my ipod. I only record my weight here when I've lost some, lol0

Yep, I have to agree with the every dayers though I don't record every day0

well I have done it all, weighed everyday, sometimes everytime I walked by the scale, but THIS WEEK, I am on my once a week weigh in, Friday mornings are the best day for me. I have even had to give my scale to my teenage son to Hide , so I dont weigh so often, But TODAY, I am proud to say, my scale sits in my bathroom and I dont even want to step on it unless its Friday morning.
Whatever it takes, I say. Weigh when you want, I think weighing daily has its advantage when you are trying to figure out what effects your body, Sodium, wine, ect, but once you have it all figured out, once a week should be your goal.0 -
I weigh almost daily. I usually log mine on Monday or Wednesday, depends on if I've eaten breakfast before weighing on Mondays, which I occasionally do. If that happens I just make sure that I weigh in before eating on Wednesday, so I get my loss in. Occasionally I will log more than once a week, mainly for personal motivation.0

WELL DONE!!!0 -
I weigh in once a week, unless its my 'time'. then I skip tat week since I am more likely to retain water during that time.0

I weigh in everyday. I know some people say to do it one a week but the scale is in the bathroom just begging me to step on it!!0
-
Every Monday morning; it's when the weekly calories start again, so it seemed just right!
I keep the scales under the stairs, so they're out of sight, out of mind....!0 -
I weigh pretty much daily because it keeps me on track, but I only log my weight on Wednesdays0
-
Personally I try to stick to once a week (first thing in the moring, naked and after a wee!!! TMI - sorry)
There is nothing more demotivating than seeing the constant fluctuations of your weight!!!0 -
Every day, but I only count it Saturday morning.0
