    just started today. we will check in in this post. check it often i will post challenges for the week. this weeks challenge is up already. it is something different to get our minds of the scale.
    I want to join!when did you start,l and how will we all keep up with each other?

    I asked my gym if they would measure me tonight and they said no! So bummed. If you don't utilize their $$$ personal trainers then they won't take two minutes to measure you. I'm thinking of talking to the manager tomorrow! :(

    With that said, I didn't measure myself tonight because I usually am pretty swoll after a 2+ hour long gym session.

    I DID complete the 500 dumbbell swings. OMG that was hard!!! I did no more than 15 at any given time. I did 15-45 in between every set of my strength training program tonight. Several people commented on how hard it looked and asked wth I was doing so many for! lol. I didn't think I could do more than 450 but I took a break and hammered out the rest! :)

    I will post measurements tomorrow a.m.

  • I live at the beach and would love to have a beach body for once so I'm in!! love the challenge too! can't wait to go to the gym to start it.

  • Ok I have to ask what is the difference from waist and belly button measurements, I have always only measured at my belly button and the difference between hips and but. I know stupid question but I thout these places where the same. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

    Let's hope these go down! I think I'm going to break the kettle bell swings into 100s too! Love the idea of adding challenges like this each week : )

    You don't have to measure like I did. I measured those parts because I want to focus on losing my baby pooch.

    Waist is your natural waist, usually the very smallest part of your midsection right under your ribs. Bend side to side and where your midsection creases is considered your natural waist. Some people measure their hips where their pants ride, or at their hip bones, but I measure at the widest part of my hips which includes the fullest part of my bum cause I have a little junk in the trunk :laugh:

    You can measure however you want though as long as you are measuring consistently each time.

    Alrighty, here's my measurements for this month:

    Neck - 14.5
    Arms - 13.0
    Bust - 39.5
    Chest - 34.0
    Waist - 32.0
    Belly B - 37.0
    Pooch - 38.0
    Hips/Bum - 40.5
    Thighs - 25.5

    Ok ladies lets be consistant and dont forget the challenge. I got 100 yesterday and doing 100 tonight. Dont forget to stay hydrated and have fun.

    I'll add tomorrow when i've got my tape measure handy. I doubt i'll have a beach body by then, but i'll be on my way :D

    P.S. For the ladies that didn't know how to keep your measurements the same every time. Get a washable marker pen and mark each area on your body where you are placing the tape measure, then take a photo. You can have a check of it each time you measure.

    I did all 500 last night. Holy hell I'm sore :) it was fun to have a goal though!!! Good idea :)
