Nice, I can't wait until that happens to me. I have a while to go. I can feel your happiness.0
-
Same for me this week - it is a good feeling, especially because the next range is "healthy" and very attainable.0

That's awesome for you and an inspiration for me! That's a benchmark I'm hoping to reach this summer. Keep up the good work.0

Apparently, my body is deciding to do a Tango back and forth across this line. I'm obese-I'm overweight-I'm obese, cha-cha-cha. Grats on crossing the line and I can't wait to join you (in a more permanent fashion) over there!!

Congrats to you all... I crossed over into healthy a few weeks ago.
Am now 10lb from my goal...0 -
I have read a lot of places about BMI it doesn't take in account for your body type or physical make up. Bodybuilders all fall in the obese range. Concentrate more on your body fat %. For me to be "healthy" at 6'3" I am supposed to weigh no more than 200 lbs. I remember 200 and I was nothing but skin and bones.0

Oh, I know, but it's still nice to see the little arrow move left over the line.0 -

I'm hoping that posting will help motivate me to *not* do that tango. It would be pretty embarassing after bragging about it.0 -

Well done! That's my first goal too. :-)0

Yeah I don't think I'm obese but according to the chart I am...4 lbs to go till I see a BMI of 29.8
Congrats to everyone and the OP!!0 -
That is great, congratulations. I have 13.5 pounds to lose until I get out of "overweight" Can't wait. Keep up the good work everyone!!0

I officially became overweight today as well. It feels so good to be overweight...lol.0
-
good job. i have about 5-7 pounds before i cross that line. hoping it will come soon0
-
That's an awesome feeling! I remember when I crossed that line. Now I'm about 10 lbs to go til I'm in the "normal weight" BMI catagory. Keep on going! You're doing great!0
-
Well done! I've got a bit to go before I'm over that particular line.
I'm slightly sceptical about BMI, personally I don't think it works out for me - the top end of my "Healthy" weight is 76.6Kgs.....I can't ever imagine being that weight. I'm not built to be that weight. That's not me being negative just realistic, my body build just could not exist on that weight.0 -
thats great ! I was soooo happy to see that happen too lol unfortunately ive been stuck just under the obese line all winter b/c i stopped trying but Im getting back on track now!0
-
I just love MFP. its the only site I know of that people celebrate being overweight! Congrats, I can't wait till its me!!!!0
-
I'm working on that as well.. I am at 35.5 right now. 5.5 away! I started at 38.something so I'd say I'm slowly but surely getting there! Great job!0
