Squeezing in some exercise, yes. I'm a bit challenged this week - I felt sick a couple of days, and we've got company, so a bunch of my exercise this week was house/yard work. Still hoping to get to the gym tomorrow and the next day.0

I've already met my 700 calories burned and a few more! I'm hoping I can burn much much more in order to help us out in trying to burn the most calories!
I'm doing much better this week so hopefully I will be losing something and hopefully meet my goal this week!!!!0 -

I burned 388 on the 4-mile run last night, so that puts me over the 700 mark, I might have a long run on Friday in stead of Saturday since I have a baby shower on Saturday.0 -

I went to a Zumba class today and burned so many calories!! YAY ME! Are we suppost to be counting the calories since Saturday or Monday? I looked at my fitness for the week, and duh it starts on Monday not Saturday! If it's Saturday then I've burned 1805 so far! YAY ME!0

Feeling badly that I did not help my group with this week's challenge. A ridiculously busy week and a couple days with a migraine have made exercise almost obsolete. Eating properly has been iffy, too. Not looking forward to the scale this week just based on how I feel. Sorry all!0

Here's what she said:
Keep track of calories burned, they must add up to a MINIMUM of 700 total exercise calories.
-These calories must be burned by exercise rather than by a deficit of calories.
-The team with the highest number of total calories this week WINS.
-The 700 calories can be burned in multiple sessions, your weekly total must be 700 cals or above.
-The more you burn, the higher your chance of winning this week!
-The calories counted will be from Monday, March 7 - Saturday March 12
so, calories mon-sat burned. I burned a few more last night, I did this "red carpet workout" on demand. It was a lower body one, I did upper body on Tuesday. It was so hard! she killed me. seriously. I am crippled. I wasn't going to rest today but I think I have to, I could not do a long run. maybe rest tonight, yoga tomorrow, long run on Sunday before my spa day reward.0 -
I finally met the minimum calories burned. I'm at 727 burned and done for this week, my legs are killing me :laugh: I wonder what challenge jitterbug has in store for us next week :huh:0

Oh shoot, LOL! Well I still did really good! Since Monday I've burned 1389 calories! I think I might have a break today, my legs are KILLING me!0

I am also done for the week and I am at 1098 calories burned from exercise. Woot Woot0

Just added it up - 1266 so far this week. Lower than average for me. However, tomorrow morning, I'm going to try to hit the gym for another 500-ish, and we're going shooting besides, which is a very light exercise. I doubt I'll have lost another lb by tomorrow, but I've lost one this week so that's good!0

Once again I didn't lose any weight! I'm very disheartened! I know I gotta keep going but I'm also going to reevaluate my diet and try something different!0

The week ended better than I thought... I did manage to get in enough exercise to meet the 700 calorie goal (808 to be exact). My weight did go up, but only .8. I was expecting 3 or 4 pounds based on how I was feeling. So I'm encouraged, and next week is looking more relaxed at work, so I can focus some time on me...yeah!!!0

Didn't meet my weight goal for this week, up .2 pound 120.4 :grumble:
I'm on vacation next week so my goal will be to maintain at 120.4 for 3/19.0 -
I've lost 1 lb this week, so didn't make my weight goal. Now at 252. My exercise hasn't changed since yesterday - 1266.
I'm thinking I'll head to the gym in a few minutes, while I'm waiting for dinner. Can't stay long - it's my mother-in-law's birthday.0 -

I walked 3 miles this evening after work. It was absolutely wonderful! I'm really enjoying the extra daylight and our spring-like temperatures. Good luck with week 3 everyone.0 -
I forgot to post goals! Okay, here we go. I'm going to aim for 1 lb lost this time, taking into account that I'm just about to be really, REALLY hungry. So that'll be 251 by Saturday. I always exceed 3 miles in a week; I sometimes do that much in a day. Already, I've done 1.5. I think, in the interest of team spirit, I'll aim for 2 miles a day, every day, starting tomorrow, so that'll be 5 days at 2 miles, is 10, plus today is 11.5 miles.0

last night I jogged 2.6 miles. I needed to get 4 miles but we were expecting company. I was glad to get outside and jog around the lake, though, it was a nice day here.0

I did manage 4.5 miles last night and will have a 6-mile run on Saturday. My weigh-in this morning was still 112 but I haven't not been practicing good eating habits.0

My weight goal was met - down 1 lb to 251. Aiming for 1 lb again this week. I haven't walked more yet, but expect to shortly. I can't predict how much since I'm still feeling a little off.0
