Even with a transition to vegetarianism and eventually to veganism I really really really really dont think I can go without tuna rolls not the spicy kind though. just brown rice tuna roll. I get wacky cravings when TOM hits for it and become a raving lunatic if I don't have it. well almost0

Fried Chicken ... and I probably eat it about 3 times a year. The good news, I guess, it's hard to find really good fried chicken, and I'm not talking KFC or Popeye's. :noway: Yuck
I should say I'll never eat it again, but hey, life is to short to give up something you love.

Since I want to eat healthy the rest of my life, I have to be sensible about what I can do long term.

I make an iced vanilla latte at home every morning - using Starbucks espresso and vanilla syrup. EVERY morning.
I'm an the polar opposite of a morning person and my morning latte is what gets me going.
When calories allow I'll even indulge in a 2nd one for an afternoon pick-me-up.0 -
BUTTER!!! I am a whole food eater and there is no way I'm using any butter substitute that is closer in chemical composition to plastic than butter.
I really haven't given much up. I still go out every weekend. I am learning to plan ahead and get an idea of portion control. I figure if I restrict too much I will just end up here again because I will get fed up.0 -
Tried and decided it was not worth it....my flavored coffee creamers in the early mornings.0

in time I have given up red meat b/c it simply doesnt digest in my new stomach pouch since gastric bypass.
but IF I crave a burger I will make one and smash it down flat, cut into fours and have one piece of it. And I mean nibble on it for 10 mins and chew it really well so it doesnt make me throw up once it goes down.
my other I wont totally give up but treat myself once a month with is a 20 oz Mt dew0 -
I haven't given any of the foods I use to eat. I've simply changed how much of it I eat in one sitting and how often I eat it.0
