I am named after the witch.

I had my ears pierced when I was 8, but I didn't take care of them and one closed up. I didn't have it re-pierced until I was 18 and I only did it so I could wear earrings during my wedding.

    Phobic to needles!!!!!!

drastically phobic about needles. I cannot stand the thought of injections or blood being drawn at all. Makes me cry if I think about it too much. I developed a migraine on the day my university sent me a letter regarding a tetanus shot. My husband has to take me there, like a child, and I need to be heavily drugged for any dental work...I'm talking valium PLUS gas. UGH

I have a major phobia of closed spaces, I can't even watch a movie about anything related to it without hyperventilating and having to turn the movie off! Oh yeah the needles and large amounts of blood are no good either. I almost faint!!

I once tried to watch a documentary about diving in underground caves. I had to stop. It was freaking me out.

I don't mind when they take blood out, but I don't like anything going into my veins. My veins are as full as they are supposed to be. No need to disrupt the perfect balance.

I have more of a phobia of blood, like when I cut my hand I get faint, lol! If I can avoid that and the closed spaces I am good!

    Here's a strange one....

I can't stand EVEN THE THOUGHT of bare feet walking across dry wood - like a deck or picnic table. The feel and sound give me the creeps. UGHHHHH!!!

  • I can watch them stick needles in my arm all day long. But, draw blood. . . I'm out like a light. The last time I tried to donate I woke up to four older ladies standing over me asking me if I was OK. I had no idea where I was, so I told them that depended on where I was. They asked me to not come back.

I hate the sound of styrofoam rubbing against other styrofoam. I also hate cardboard rubbing against cardboard. Makes my teeth itch.

OMG a guy did that when we went in for our immunizations for the army, we were going down a line getting needles stuck in our arms one after another and these guys were making fun of a girl who was crying, next thing u know u hear BANG! This big huge dude dropped like a rock as soon as the needle touched his arm , i have to admit , i laughed my butt off!

I am a complete and total Andy Griffith Show encyclopedia. I can recite the lines right along with the characters on any given episode. I have been into the show since I was a very young child.
Thats awesome. I thought I was the only person under 55 that loves that show!

My sister (who is 4 years my junior) is just as bad as I am. So there's 3 of us at least! :)

Make that 4 of us. I am 33 and have been into it since I was a little girl!

-I told my mom at 14 I was going to go and visit dad (he lived in another country at the time) when I really just wanted to get in the plane & run away with my boyfriend who happen to live in the same country that my dad did =P

I have never lived with my parents after that!!! Had my first child when I was 16 !

I lose my voice every summer from training Dragon Boat teams.
  • Ok...hmmm....

~I loathe the sound of people eating, it makes my skin crawl. I have to mute commercials when they are loudly eating, and will boycott a restaurant or product if they intentionally focus on the sound of drinking/eating.

~I hate people to touch my hair, nails and teeth...so going to the dentist, getting my hair done, and having a mani/pedi is really, really hard (I always go to the dentist every 6 months though!).

~I actually am an Irish dancer, and started when I was 35. I have competed, and have a ton of medals (ok that sounded like I was bragging  ). My teacher was the "Lord" in The Lord of the Dance (Vegas). I will keep doing it until I am too old to do it, it is amazing!

~I am 5'9" but my wingspan is 5"11"....so finding jackets/shirts etc...is almost impossible!!

~At one point I was the only married person in my family (including uncles, aunts, cousins, mother, etc...).

<--- self proclaimed Humanist. Only surprising because I live in a very conservative state/city

I'm an out-of-the-closet atheist living in rural-ish Georgia!!
  • I am also really claustrophobic, hate the sound of styrofoam rubbing together, and HAVE to change the toilet paper if it is not going over the top, wherever I go(and I mean in public restrooms too-bleck).

I have broken all of my fingers but one..I have broken my left wrist..both my knee caps are off balance and the doctors still don't know how I'm walking..I broke my leg bodyboarding. And I can't count how many times I've broken my toes and had to tape them together..LOL

I have anxiety hearing or thinking about the heart how it functions or blood pressure or heart rate. I can't hear a heart rate it sends me into a anxiety attack...and feeling my own pulse does the same thing.(However, I am training myself to overcome this fear because you can't work out and not feel it..so its gotten ALOT better..but two years ago I would have been a mess)
