108 I might be very out of touch with... something more realistic maybe 112 if I eat right and kick my butt the next two weeks!

I hated that I did not lose last week, and GAINED 1 pound. My NSV... I am started to fit in my smaller sized clothes! Its so exciting! In about two weeks my family is coming down from MA to visit my family in AL for my sons first communion, I have not seen them since November, I can't wait to show off! But my journey is far from over! I go up in July for my brothers wedding, I want to look my best! There will be family there that I have not seen since my sisters wedding back in 2007!
    We ALL can do this!

I won't be weighing tomorrow so I thought I'd post today. I'm excited to report that I've already reached my goal for April! Woo hoo! I really didn't think that I could lose 5 pounds in a month, since March was so rocky for me. But I did! And I'm now in the 160s! We'll see what the end result is next week. :-)

Daily Inspiration for April 20, 2011
    Katie Jay,MSW

View permanent weight loss as a process, not an event.

Most great achievements are the result of hard work and a designated plan of action. As they are often time consuming, progress is made in small, purposeful steps.

The same is true concerning permanent weight loss. It's not just going to happen. Through a process you create and execute, you are infinitely more likely to succeed in all your endeavors. Save the "events" for birthdays and celebrations, and view permanent weight loss as a process of making a plan, and then, each day, doing the next right thing.

Action for the day: Today, simply do the next right thing. Whenever you have a decision to make, whether it's what to eat or what to do after work, do the next right thing.

I'm very happy to be down another half a pound. I'm disappointed that I'm not going to reach my goal, especially because I really wanted to be out of the 140's by the end of the month. So that's my new goal for April, I would LOVE to see a number below 140... it's a long shot since my progress has been so slow but you never know, maybe I'll finally have the great week that I've been striving for.

I'm impressed with how many people have already reached their goals or are very close! Great job!
