Hey there,
I'm looking for a BeachBody coach who can help me with my weight loss goals. I tend to have a lot of questions and would love to have some one to turn to. I've signed up on their website but the coach that was assigned to me is not very helpful. Thanks all

I know of several, I am not a coach: Clarissa Ledesma Lupton, Michelle Bates, Carolynn Lovejoy all on facebook...0

Ok thanks. Or does anyone know if and how you can change your coach on the BeachBody website? Thanks again0

Why do you need a beach body coach? MFP is free. I'm not trying to be mean, just really curious…
Here's some good info…
Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.

It's about moderation not deprivation. There are no good/bad foods, only bad eating habits. Do or do not, there is no try. You have to want it, you have to work for it, you have to realize that only you can do it.

Be aware that anyone can be a "coach" whether they are qualified or not. A lot of them are coaches for the discount, nothing more.0
-
I for one, am really surprised that eleventyhundred of them haven't posted in here by now.0
-
but...why?0
-
Or you could just read the stuff on here and ask the people who have been successful. Most of us won't try to sell you anything.0
-
I'm just as unqualified as a BeachBody coach, and for half the price of Shakeology, I won't try to sell you anything.
Jokes aside...prepare for the onslaught of messages from BeachBody coaches that are going to try to sell their product to you. You're better off finding a personal trainer with actual credentials who can help you in real life.0 -
here is my free advice - create a calorie deficit, set macros to 35 protein, 35 carbs, and 30 fats, and get on a heavy lifting program or some kind of strength training regimen …
you just saved a ton of money…

Completely agree with what most people have said. Save yourself some money and learn how to make life chances which are sustainable in the long term. If you want advice from a professional, speak to a personal trainer / dietitian not a snake oil vendor.0
-
I'm starting to do BeachBody programs and would like advice how to get the best results from doing hybrid BeachBody programs. I'm not looking to buy their supplements or shakes. I'm just looking to get the best results from what Im doing and what Im eating. A lot of the food plans with these programs I don't like the food or allergic to so it's not always so easy to just follow the program's plan. But thank you to those of you that give me advice instead of questioning my motives.0
-
-
Most BeachBody "coaches" won't offer support or help if they know that they can't make a buck off of you. Good luck.0
-
I've done Beachbody workouts in the past and have never followed the food plans, because they were ridiculous and unrealistic for my lifestyle and budget. I just used MFP to set my calories and macros and ate foods which fit into those.0

You want advice from a beachbody coach? That's a first.
Just ask random people on the street, they are just as qualified as a beachbody coach.0 -

The problem is they are sales people - that have no dietary qualifications. If you find a Beachbody coach that gives you nutritional advice that isn't 'use our product' I will eat my hat.

Sadly you probably won't get much help from them if you aren't signing up to buy their supplements or shakes as that's how they get paid is by someone wasting their money on that stuff.
And you can come up with your own food plan just by logging it in here to see where the calories are. Not too sure what else you are looking for though. Good luck!0 -
So you're saying you want to pay $120 for crap??0
-
A BB "coach" is just someone who has signed up with them and gets discounts on their vastly overpriced products...it's just another MLM (Multi-level Marketing) scheme...as someone who has a close family member deeply engrossed in the MLM BS, I cannot speak against it strongly enough. MLM is a disgusting marketing strategy.here is my free advice - create a calorie deficit, set macros to 35 protein, 35 carbs, and 30 fats, and get on a heavy lifting program or some kind of strength training regimen …
There ya go!0 -

I'm a coach, and while yes, you're paying for my "coaching" by buying products. I'm also a certified fitness instructor, going back to school for holistic nutrition, and contemplating personal training in the future. A GOOD coach will do whatever it takes to further educate themselves to help each person. I am even "coaching" a person for free and she has NO intention of ever buying. I've even given people programs before they could afford to pay for something because I truly care about helping people. Not every coach out there is out to drain you dry.
All you people can't honestly say (unless you've bought a program and actually didn't half *kitten* the thing and didn't commit) it's a waste. Have you checked out success stories? I know a handful of top coaches (Anita Miron, Shiva Latifi, Alyson Schomaker) who started out and do competitions now. It's a GREAT place to start your fitness._HeartsOnFire_ wrote: »Why do you need a beach body coach? MFP is free. I'm not trying to be mean, just really curious…

The best results will come from doing any or all of them consistently. There's no magic setup of them that will make things go faster or better. Secondly, log everything consistently and maintain a deficit. Best of luck!!

Sadly most coaches aren't like you and only in it for themselves and not there to help others...but glad to see that you aren't the norm for the BB coaches.0 -
It's a good place to start regardless of whether or not a person is licensed. I'm still learning, and if it's something that I truly feel passionate about I'll go after a degree. I'm not wasting $$ going back for a bachelors if it's not something I can't put my whole heart into. Anyone can go into a library and "educate" themselves without a license, degree, etc. Some people just need the help. I can't see the harm in that...can you?iheartinsanity wrote: »I'm a coach, and while yes, you're paying for my "coaching" by buying products.
