I'm 5'8" and started at about 230. I'm down to 168 now, but I really want to be closer to 140ish. I'm hoping I can make it there by the end of 2014.

This was me at about my highest weight (on the left)

And this is me at about 175 (sorry for crazy mirror face)

Such awesome posts on here!! Congrats everyone!

From July-Sept I went from 224-194 with exercise and cutting out bad food.

Then, from Oct-Jan I went from 194-172 with MFP! Looking forward to 2014!

I'm 5'7", and I recently reset my goal from 150 to 145 since it seems to be possible now. :relaxed: I'm going to try to maintain at 145, or at least that's my current plan! At 125 days logged, I feel like this is more of a lifestyle change than a d**t (I try not to use the d-word!) so I'm pleased with the slow progress.

    Good luck to all! B)

My highest was 226 (eek!) when I was in college, around 2008. Now, I'm right around 163, but I'd like to get down to 150-155. I'd like to reach that by the time the holidays start, but it's been a rough road the last 2-3 months. I'm sticking to my calorie budget 5-6 days a week, but my workouts have dropped off since starting back at school (teaching). I'm hoping to find a balance here soon and be able to workout regularly again as well as staying on top of my diet.

I'm 5'7 SW:198 CW:143, GW:140. The first picture was October 2012, Three months after having my first son. Which is when my weight loss journey started (about 195ish lbs) and the second was June 2014. Three months after I had my youngest son (150 lbs). :)0ikw6p7i6eow.jpg

I've lost about 26 pounds, mostly through diet but I've started running...but I know it's all about the food... :( Kind of stalled there, but I'm happy with my body enough now, which is probably why I'm stalled... I'm about 5 pounds from my original goal weight of 145, but still would like to go at least another 15 - 20 which would be around 135...but I never thought that would be possible until I've seen all the success stories and actually lost the weight I have.

Then.... (about a year and a half after I had my little one..)

Hi all. Your pics all look great! I'm 5'7 and have gone from 221lbs in January to 147lbs now. I'm thinking I'd like to try 140lbs to see how that looks on me as I still have a really flabby tummy but we'll see how that goes! Here are some pics...can't believe I got big enough to be able to do one of those trouser photos!

I am 5'6". At my heaviest (this spring), I weighed 166. As of last week, the scale hit 139 lb! My goal is 135. The weight is definitely slowing down as I get closer to my goal, but that's OK. ;)

If you click on my profile pic, you can see more of my weight loss journey pics. (I hope to post a success story when I hit my goal - I hope within the next couple months.)

I started at at whopping 162kg/357lb six months ago. Have now lost 40kg/88lb. This was done without exercise. Unfortunately I'm still mobese, but not morbidly obese anymore. Each day I get some form of confirmation than I am on the right track. Oh, my height is 5ft 7.4in. (1.75m)

I thought I was 5'8" but the life insurance nurse that was out a few weeks ago says I'm 5'7" - whatever. I started at 254 and am at 157 this morning, I posted my pics in the bathing suits before & after thread but I don't mind reposting here.

SW 254.6 (and sorry for the weird cropping, I'd initially lopped my head off the pic but then later decided to put it back lol):

and a few days ago at 159:

At 5'7 and 128 pounds (BMI of 20) I am happy with my body. However I am hoping that getting my weight down to 121 or so (still a healthy weight) will make me a better long distance runner.

I am planning on losing about .5 pounds per week (on a 2000+ calorie diet) for about 14 weeks until I reach my goal. I run a lot (and cross train) already but will be adding morning more strength training to help protect muscle mass during my diet.

I'm 5'8", started at 265, and just dipped under 140lbs, meaning passed the 125lbs lost mile-stone! My goal weight is half my weight - I'm so close I can taste it ;)

I don't havy any pics from, like, right now, so here are some earlier ones:
