I personally think its a great idea.
I know people said there is nothing with a bit there and bit here.. but the problem is that we all ate without paying attention to what we were eating, how we were eating.0 -

I actually never thought once about eating any of that candy, regardless of the calories listed.0

"Were" being the key word. Most of us now have changed our lifestyles to include things like a couple pieces of candy in moderation. I used to go through a bag of Hershey Kisses in 3-4 days. Now? I eat two squares of chocolate for 120 calories.0 -

for the majority of people, sugar IS NOT the reason. That being said, it won't hurt people to have sugar. Why can't people understand that?
apologies. I meant excess sugar. I'll edit my post.

This is my first visit to a message board in a month and now I remember why. How such an inocuous post can generate such nasty replies would amaze me if I was still capable of amazement after 3 years on MFP. Flame away. (Countdown starts now till someone throws out the hoary "butthurt" comment.)-3

Dude, a proper "mean people" thread should be started on its own, not within another thread.

Nope, that picture won't make me think twice about it. I just finished a Reese's PB cup. I'll just make sure it fits in my day overall because I sure as heck won't forbid it. It's all about moderation for me.0

That's up to each person and what they are comfortable with based on what they have read I would think.0 -

My definition of "excess" is >300g of sugar in a day. Anything more is just too much and bad for my health.
